The meat cleavers are also ugly, and actually made me decide *not to do* a DW playthrough, because it would be seriously irritating to look at those all game -- and equally irritating to know that I was handicapping my character by not taking the best items available. I did really like the extra clothing options though...and also, on playthroughs beyond the first, it's kind of nice to be able to give the followers "improves with level-up" items so that you don't have to spend much time fiddling with their gear.

i know opinions are like ****s....everyone has them etc, but i just cant see how this game is so different from the first as to make people uninstall...im sure many of these complainers are either spitting dummies out or are just plain net-nubs who like to moan about everything
as for the items...im on act 2 of my first playthru, so items are either too low or too high...lol....they look good though
i feel for BW....damned if you do, damned if you dont
Or as Varric said in one dialogue in the Hanged Man, when asked his opinion of the mage vs. templar controversy:
"It's all a bunch of humans running around in skirts, I get confused! Anyway, opinions are like testicles - it doesn't matter how many you have if you kick them hard enough!"

They gave you a pet for free if you bought the game new.
I'm looking forward to story DLC, but it had better have new items that are on the same level of quality as this item pack.

Does anyone know when the next lot of DLC will be out for DA2?
Thanks
That`s a question only the people at Bioware can answer.

Obviously I'm not at liberty to discuss anything in detail about any upcoming story DLC but I'll say a few things that will hopefully sate your curiousity for now
First of all, it's awesome. Yup. Awesome.
Secondly, we're ensuring that it is of the utmost quality when it is finally released and as such have really taken our time to incorporate all the feedback we've been receiving from the forums and make changes/additions accordingly.
Third, it's awesome. Did I mention that?
We will have more information on it as gets closer to release but don't expect anything too soon; the patch and game quality are top priority.

Sounds... awesome. Luke, dunno if you're allowed to answer this but can you tell us if the DLC takes place post-act 3 or if we'll have to start a new game to play it?

Certainly understandable. I'm just saying that so it's on record, allowing me the legal right to say 'told you so!' coupled with some sort of sarcastic smiley face

Luc, Are you going to fix the armor pack soon? (with hi-res texture)
They are working an update to the high-rez pack to include the DLC items, yes.
[EDIT] BUT WHEN WILL THAT BE READY, MR. BARRETT? YOU DON'T NEED TEXTURE ARTISTS TO PATCH THE GAME. I DEMAND IT TOMORROW.

How about releasing something that gives us more to do in the game?. One thing I wish was in this game, is a colloseum or something where you can keep fighting battles. To my knowledge you eventually run out of enemies to kill soooo... where is the fun in staring at your character...
Id pay for more missions that gave items which were useful for more missions. I mean, this game uses such a mediocre mission system in the first place... can't be that hard rofl. Talk to person and go kill bad buys here (in a location that is reused 10 times in the game anyways) can't be to hard to put in rofl.

Are they top-tier? Those items I mean. No info in description.
Definitely top tier stuff. Don't have time to post all the stats though.
Well now could you or someone do me a favor and tell me what the armor rating is for the two pairs of Warrior Gauntlets as it's not stated in the Wiki for which I seen.
Thanks

Thanks appreciate the response. Would you say that the warrior armor in the Warrior pack is as good as the Champion Armor?

I'm not talking about the Warrior set in particular, but my take is that *in general* nothing beats the Champion sets.
Although on my mage, I actually did keep the Apostate's Mask in favor of the Champion's hood. It happened to be better suited to my build, even worth giving up the set bonus for. But for the other items, the Champion set was much better.

The various pieces are spread across various levels in quality, so if you insist on sticking to a complete set, then the Champion's armor is better. But I think the DLC chestpiece (and maybe the helm) is better individually than the same-slotted Champion's piece.

Thanks for the reply. I've got the points yet I'm still trying to decide whether or not to download the DLC. How good in your opinion is the other stuff the rings, amulets, and weapons?

It's all very good. The follower-specific items are almost game-breakingly good. I had *such* an easier time with the playthrough I did after I got the DLC, I considered upgrading to "Hard" difficulty...but in the end I decided I enjoyed breezing through every obstacle on Normal
