I come on once a week or so looking for news of story dlc or the tool set and keep thinking. It's a waste of time. I mean Bioware has given over to money instead of satisfying the people who plan to play their games more than once. Shame what happens when you jouin EA. DAO had more substasnce but the graphics needed cleaned up in parts. DA2 had very little substace ,but cleanened up the grafics too much. DAo we had to get to know the characters DA2 we had to know jack squat abot the characters. I could go on but Bioware/EA find some way to charge me to write on the forums. Fix it Biowae or let the modders fix it.
Same here man. I visit the forums every other day for some REAL good news but unfortunately there is none to be found

No, it wouldn't have mattered. Had the first post-launch DLC been story-based, there would have been just as much complaining.Asch Lavigne wrote...
I wonder if people's reaction would be different if this hadn't been the first post-launch DLC.
The majority of posters here love to complain about anything and everything. They probably bemoan their own existences, too. Hah.

When can we download some new buildings / caves ? I just had 4 missions in a row in the exact same building.
Isn't it the worst feeling when you do two quests back-to-back without realizing that the locations are exactly the same until you're already in it? Blah. Even my husband comments, "weren't you just in there?"
I started a new warrior playthrough a couple of days ago, and I'm not quite as thrilled with the warrior pack. I bought the bundle package (rogue, mage, warrior), just so I wouldn't have to worry about downloading it later. Anyway, yeah...the legion of the dead armor is kinda boring. And what is with that first helmet? It looks like someone welded a couple of pieces of scrap metal together to make it. Not a fan.

Speaking of which, is there any way to have this happen automatically? Maybe I'm just a little too neat-freakish when it comes to inventory management... I haven't seen anything like that yet, but maybe that's for the best (or maybe I'm not particularly observant).

If there is any DLC on the horizon I really hope it is in a new environment. I won't purchase anything story related if it is in the same reused areas.
Seriously. I've been saying this for a while now, but there are lots of areas in the Free Marches to expand to:
Cities:
Hercinia
Kirkwall
Markham
Ostwick
Starkhaven
Tantervale
Wycome
Kaiten
Regions:
The Bone Pit
Green Dales
Minanter River
Planasene Forest
Sundermount
The Wounded Coast
Vimmark Mountains

I really hope there is story DLC soon as much as I did like this pack I just want some more story! And yes hopefully it will be in new areas rather than recycling again, although I will get it either way

It's sad we are looking to "BUY" things that should have been provided in this game.

You don't think the game provides enough variety in armor without this DLC? There are already vastly more armor models than were present in Origins. Rogues in particular saw their number of armor models go from one (yes, one) to five or so.
I just don't understand why these items "should have been in the game to begin with."

It's just the general all encompassing anti-DLC argument. Which states that all DLC in some way shape or form should have been in the original game.
I'm more inclined to go with what one of the developers said earlier, this DLC and the ones like it that may come later can best be described as a Vanity DLC. It's basically there for players who want more things for further customization. The original game does not need these things to function but they're there if anyone wants them.
It's one of the more popular type of DLC out there and also one of the most complained about, because the argument that they should have been in the original game is always thrown in.
Frankly I love little DLC's like this and would buy more. Fun stuff for the most part.
You're also right about the armor types Ish. Rogue especially only had like 1 armor skin in Origins, Mage had like... 2? Warrior probably had the most.

DA2 just seemed hollow some how without something else there. That is unless you enjoy smashing buttons and beating the game in 5hrs eatting pizza and sucking down redbull waiting for your next halo match to start.

Oh, and why the heck wasn't tis DLC announced on the DA2 news page, isn't that what it is for? Only found out about it 2 weeks later when I happened to look at the forum announcements. Slacking a bit, are we? Like with the patch or like you completely ignore the problems with online profiles. Pity Bioware, you did so much better before you joined EA.

I don't mind DLC just when they don't seem like much. I have no problem with story DLC. I like'd the ones that had to do withe main story in DAO. Return to Ostagar, Warden's Keep, and stone Prisoner all felt liked they fit. However the feastday, and the seperated ones didnt seem worth the time.,

My sentiments about both DAO and DA2. Currently I went back and fired up DAO and I'm playing through it once again.
