When will there be an upgrade to the storyline, I love how the game plays but maybe more free roam abilities for more exploration.. As it is I have beat the game and I can't really look around or anything.. Everytime I try to continue it just sends me back to the save point before the final battle.. Having more things to do and more room to move and explore would be great, possibly even new areas and new techniques and new enemy encounters.. I'm hoping...
The next DLC maybe who knows. So far they haven't told anybody jack.

People are really asking for story DLC? DA2 has zero story - it's a hodge podge of idiotic, FedEx style chores, masquerading as quests. I can't believe Bioware also did DAO. Any story DLC will be just as vapid. Rather than selling crap like these items, how about just unlock companion items and let a player outfit companions as desired?
So, your issue is that DA2 had no story and contains purposeless quests, and your solution is...allow equippable items for companions?
Really?
You'll have to forgive the general gaming public that enjoyed this game if they're quick to ignore your spurious qualms with the game.

I agree with him. DAO was 200% better. DA2 should have bigger map for explor and also a grey warden story from DAO is missing. Companions locked items are real FAIL.

A story about saving the world from an ancient evil that threatens to conquer the world? Not very original.
A story about one person's stuggles and relationshi[s as he is thrown into the chaos? Much more original.
As for the companion locked items, it makes more sense. The people in your squad don't work for you, and aren't under your command. They are individuals that help you out. You can't force them to wear what you want them to. That's like going to work and demanding everyone you work with wear clown outfits, because you want them to.
Also stories can't be measured, so you can't give them precentiles.

But going back to DA2 there were to many things for which didn't do it for me; not feeling a part of the storyline itself what little story there was. getting little in return for the items for which we sold and the stuff for which we bought cost so much more. The fact of the better items in the game not being gotten till nearly the end for which by that time they had no real use 'cept in the final battle. At least in DAO you got things early enough in the game for which they helped you out. The quest you were on were more meaningful and were tied into the main story line as well.

Sorry all you whiners and complainers, but you don't make up the population of people who enjoy the game.
By "population", I take it you mean majority. I dunno about that, look at the sales figures....

If there will be DA3 meybe they will make it like DAO. I hope so
I hope its a mix of the 2 the graphics were better but redudant, and the story felt hollow cause i never had that heart to heart talk with companion like in DAO to litterally drag the quests of them.

The Dialogue exchange in DA 2 is superior.
DA 2 has superior graphics.
DA 2 has a story line ( I don't understand those who think differently) and that story line can branch into two tracks.
DA 2 playes at a faster pace and I like that. I have recent memories of the slow combat, movement speed etc of DAO.
The new weapon/armor packs
IF you are not runing money mods or cheats
They help considerably in terms of gear, add jewelry item to strengthen your team mates, and the weapons can be used by team mates and they lvl up.
IF you play with no mods and don't have the preorder/promo stuff- play the game straight up
Then these packs really help.
The last tier of the packs looks so good in each class that I faught the last battles w/o the champ armor on.
Doing this, since the pack armor has less armor and less rune slots actually works to make the last fights harder regardless of seting.
I like DA 2 and it's evolution and under the conditions above the weapon/Armor packs are well worth the money.
Imagine if the plan is to make each game a new city with all of it's incumbant situations as time marches on untill we have a few cities we have played through that can weave into one huge campaign play... think about it.
Peace

For example. 400 MS points gets you a pack of items that change your appearance somewhat and are only usuable in the early part of the game.
I paid 500 MS points in Blazblue for a brand new character with voice, moves, modes, 12 appearances, a special unlimited mode and a complete patching/balancing of the original game.
Biowares value of MS points is very low compared to many other companies.

Micro transaction doesn't work for Dragon Age. Simple as that.

I was hoping for a more sword-ish looking staff to use but oh well.Cool items for the 3 classes but the price is more than it should be.
You'd rather hold a... sword... than have a naked lady atop your staff?

As for me I'll have to admit that I thought the warrior stuff was sub-par in all honesty. None of the armor or weapons cept for the shieid evolves so it becomes useless pretty quickly. Wouldn't have been bad if the armor and the 2h sword evolved. And to think that I paid $5 for it.

I completely agree. I've used all 3 packs, and the warrior set is my least favorite. The swords are decent for a time, but the armor is kinda...meh. Plus my femHawke feels weird walking around with kitty kat feet.
I'm glad I bought all 3, though. It's nice to have items and weapons followers can use.
