have asked and have been advized to come on here for help so help
i have played the exiled prince dlc on dragon age 2 twice but i have never recieved any achievements i,ve given the bow to sebastian, meet divines agent all of them but no achievements is there a glich on the 360 to stop these achievements any help would be gratefull

XBOX 360
- 1.) you need the Dragon Age 2 Patch 1.01, this patch will be installed automatically when you connect to XBOX live
- 2.) you have to start a complete new playthrough after the patch is installed. Play through the game and the achievements will unlock as you play.

You completely skipped the step where he/she has to delete the prince DLC from the HDD then go to download history find it then re-download it ....

This doesn't seem to be necessary for everyone.  I had the bug before, but on my latest playthrough, without deleting and redownloading the dlc, I got the achievements just fine.

The Warrior Armor looks fun, but I don't buy DLC for games that I don't enjoy.

Then dont respond about a game you dont enjoy easy your not gonna make others not like the game especially when there a ton of os who are quiet happy with the game sure its not as good as DAO but its still a great game to some of us.

I like Malcolm's Armour for the mages, i went "D'awwwwwwww" when I saw it, it was really sweet and endearing.....

But seriously I payed 5 bucks for that chiz, I wanted something that'd crit kill every enemy by blowing up their internals or something.....

Really kinda a let down....if it goes on sale, I'd reccommend buying but other than that, stear clear and pray for a story pack.....

I think BIOWARE is choosing to market to the casual gamer. Casual gamers don't use toolsets, they don't see if a dlc is lowres or not and there are a lot of them = much biger market. I think they tried with DA2 to apease both casual and more RPG orientated gamers their usual fanbase. I suppose they found out it backfired. But even now you people in the US and UK have it better with BIOWARE'S poor choises. You at least could opt to preorder or buy DA2 signature edition, you have DAO Ultimate Edition at a decent price. Not so where I live. Only normal DA2 edition at full price (50€) and still normal edition DAO + Awakening each 20€. Talking about getting screwed by big company stategies. Of couse you can opt to buy online in the UK but how many casual players will do that.
I am also holding on to my seat concerning ME3. Everytime they use the word casual gamer I sy!!!
Will defenetly buy ME3 to end the trilogy but for the rest will refrain until after release and reading reviews. But then again if the more hardcore RPGers will wait for review by other gamers who will that be? We know we can't trust the paid reviewers but will and can casual players write a decent review? I somehow doubt it!!

I'm not a casual gamer and neither do I use toolsets or check to see what the resolution quality of DLC is like.

I'm not sure we can really "count" the day one DLC. I have faith that we'll see something sooner or later.  I'm even holding out some small hope that this silence hasn't been soley due to ME3 eating up development resources, and that we could see an expansion or meatier storyline DLC in the near future. Perhaps they learned their lesson from the delays that plagued the previous games DLC and will keep quiet until things are closer to launch, atleast.

Last I heard was that they're making some DLC's but are gonna take their time to refine them. I also read that there may be a 2nd high res pack.

I find comments like this funny. The game hasn't even been out for three months yet and they're already considered too slow? And then everyone ****es when the game itself is rushed? No wonder Bioware can't make anyone happy-- people are unpleasable.

So is this item pack going to be available once the PlayStation 3 store is back up or will we still have to wait a little longer?

You want game breaking gear? I hope Bioware never comes to you for advice. The DLC gear is overpowered enough as it is, given that it takes no ingame effort whatsoever to obtain.

That's what Ive been trying to find out yet still no answer on the subject.  Am I putting off playing for only another day or two, or another week or two?  An answer would certainly be nice

The term "Casual Gamer" is being misused by incompetent fools like yourself. I really don't understand some people. You think you're better because you have more time to play video games? I'm a casual gamer, I don't care to work with a toolset. I didn't see anything wrong with the resolution on the item pack, and since it only costs $5, there's no reason to complain. If you can't spare $5 for this pack, then you shouldn't be playing video games. You should be working.

Why should people who don't have a lot of time for video games be insulted like this?

Now, since the "casual gamer" is falling under a stereotype, I suppose the "hardcore gamer" can be stereotyped as elitist, single-minded fools?

You know what I find funny?  The fact that apparently if you dont use toolsets, you're not a hardcore gamer lol.  I dont hate on casual gamers, I dont hate on gamers in general.  I have 30 years of gaming experience under my belt.  So to me, that qualifies me as "hardcore".  My point, is that Ein is right.  I dont use toolsets (primarily because Im a console gamer) and Im still a hardcore gamer.  Sorry guys, just because you're on PC and use toolsets, doesnt make you hardcore and anyone who doesnt use them "casual" gamers.  It's people who have that mentality that make the actual "hardcore" gamers look bad.
