The only thing extra I wished they had added in the rogue pack is a hood or cowl instead of a helmet... XD Other than that I liked the armor...

Looks like this thread has been derailed enough for me throw in my 2 cents.
While I do not support the decline of gaming industry by buying a console, I do not shove it in peoples' faces either. Back in university I had a roommate who kept playing xbox, but I have never told him any of the filthy words that were on the tip of my tongue. That being said, I do have one concern. It hurts me deeply when a console player calls himself "hardcore". It hurts me even more when someone says that fps and rts genres are more hardcore than rpg. How deluded can one be? Just because you spend 30 years on your couch massaging a controller it doesn't make you "hardcore". If anything, it makes you a complete casual. It's hard to imagine someone in their right mind not being enraged by DLC like this.

The only way anyone can be considered a hardcore gamer is if they play both console and computer games.  Regurdless of one's perfered gaming machine, there's gems on both.   While I only play consoles these days, there was a time that I played both with equal fever.  Of course, I never considered myself "hardcore" either.  I just liked those silly little things called role-playing games, whether they were in the guise of Baldur's Gate  or Lufia.

Anyone who purchased this pathetic excuse for content is part of the cancer killing the gaming industry.

The real cancer that's killing the game industry is gamers who forget that the entire purpose of the gaming industry is to make money for multimillion dollar companies; DLC of any sort makes money and so long as it does, devolopers will produce it because its an easy fix.  We live in a capitalist society, after all.

thats your pc elitism opinion.  but unfortunately for you, that's all it is, an opinion.  You dont get to snub your nose at a console gamer just because you're a pc player and they arent.  Actually, yes you do, its a free country and thats your perogative to do so.  What hurts me deeply is all this PC elitism that runs rampant.  But whatever, Im done arguing the issue tbh at this point.  You want to be a 3 year old and have your way, sure, go ahead lol.  Id just like to know where it was suddenly written that unless you are a PC gamer, you arent considered "hardcore"?  Just curious because unless it's a written rule somewhere, it's not a fact, but an opinion.  *shrugs* Just saying.

Let's not talk "hardcore", but rather "people who care about game quality". If you don't think the consoles are holding back the industry, you are delusional. They use severely outdated 20th century hardware and keep the games extremely restricted (no modding, no cheat codes, no anything). What we used to call "updates" have now turned into DLC. The reason a console owner will never be a true a gamer is because he supports this antiprogress by giving his money to the wrong people. Sure, you might say "but I play games to have fun and consoles are fun", but then at least admit you are a casual gamer and you don't give a rat's ass about how the gaming industry evolves.

Now, if you really want to talk "hardcore", I'll just say that hardcore console games simply do not exist. The common design pattern for every major developer is to make the game simple and accessible (this is particularly true for bioware). Compared to games these days, even classical mario was hardcore, because dying actually PUNISHED you instead of giving you limitless chances to try something else in case you failed.

If you say so ^_^

Edit:  Just as a side note.  PC players are losing yet another title to us lowly consolers in the future.  CD Projekt is making the announcement at E3 as a matter of fact.  That's right, 360's getting TW2 ;)

I bought the DAII game with the item pack, but was not able to recieve the items before the PS Store was shut down...  and the due date is tomorrow (21th of may)... Maybe Bioware can extend the due date?

Well now just because CD Projekt is making The Witcher 2 available to the consoles doesn't mean that we pc gamers are losing it.  Just means that CD Projekt will be making the game avail to more folks. Which in turn mean more revenue for them.

Remember the pc gamers got to play through the game first .Image IPB And it looks to me like TW2 could be the Game of the year Winner as well.

Bioware is so full of it. This would be the perfect DLC to give for free after all the game breaking bugs that took almost 2 months after realese to fix. But yet they still want to capitilize on their loyal customers even after all of the bull****... <_<

I couldn't agree with you more Thankfully I've got TW2 which has proven to be so much better than DA2. And it didn't take CD Projekt 2 months to come out with a patch either.<LOL>

HMMM 1 damn DLC since game came out , yeah thats rteally standing behind this game , what ever !!!

I find comments like this funny. The game hasn't even been out for three months yet and they're already considered too slow? And then everyone ****es when the game itself is rushed? No wonder Bioware can't make anyone happy-- people are unpleasable.

This so much!

Bought the DLC mostly for the codex entries about Malcom because I am a sucker (yes I know I could have read the info online).  Armor is great too though, love the lion feet warrior boots :D

Don't worry Iron man, such news always reach me first. To be honest, consoles would be ok if all games were made like witche 2 - focused on PC, then ported to consoles. That way both pc and console can have a quality product

So there's no official word on when this item pack will be available to PS3 users? Hopefully when the store comes back up, it'll be there waiting for us to purchase. An answer from Bioware would be really helpful on the matter. I'm sure they know, and now that the store date has been set, I don't see why the answer to my and our questions shouldn't go unanswered. :)

I just hope that any future DLC will feature some new places to go to and by new places i mean somewhere i haven't been before, not recycling the same place over and over like in the game proper.
