Also I'll say this.
Maybe it would be smarter to let modders to add new things while the DA dev team can actually focus on story DLC which would be worth buying, then optional items.
Hell, why even release this(except for new weapon, armor models) when modders can release this for free?
It's not like this is a multiplayer game where your stuff can't be seen by other players who don't have the mod installed.
I highly encourage cosmetic DLC, but only in MP games.
SP DLC that would be worth to most people if it was about story, weapons, which handles different then other(I guess it's hard to make it in RPG then in shooter games).
Basically everything that changes gameplay a little bit.
Cosmetic ones should be free, especially when there is a mod community in a game like this.
(PS. Now why I can't write my work with such a rant'ish feel to it like I just did? xD)

I agree with Mr Draft... Cosmetic dlc should be free. At least for this game. DA2 flunked for many. It would be a nice gesture to tell the fans that you are sorry. But I guess it will never happen. Cheaper DLC might save DA2, but not this way. It needs to be story related and yeah... I agree with the enhanced version of this game. DA2 has a lot of potential, even though I enjoy playing it once in a while it lacks a lot of good stuff I loved from DAO.

I wish you could use the armor for other characters, such a waste of tons of clothing for this game since you can only dress one character :-( very sad bioware, almost makes these packs useless but 5 bucks for the weapons and stuff I'll pay for, after all it's only $5. I wanna see story updates please. I love the action in this game but would like more rpg elements lime dragon age 1, its got a lot more depth.

Wow, I just don't understand. This is just an announcement of a DLC. Not even that expensive. Why does every thread have to turn into a hate fest? I just don't understand..and feel very bad for the devs. I admit to being very disappointed with most of the Origins DLC. But just because this is the first thing that they released doesn't mean that all their future DLC will suck or whatever. And I also want to point out that they have been spending a lot of time patching the game. I'm sorry but that is really important to me, and I would rather they fix issues than work on DLC.

The design choices are.. interesting.
Apparently, Malcolm liked naked girls on his staffs. Also, why do rogues get an Anders-alike outfit? I never realised Anders was dressed for shanking. The less said about that warrior armour set, the better.

Indeed, it's nothing if you're employed. Yet a lot of people like to start bringing up rants about value from time to time.

But this game doesn't need this stuff, unless the game plays differently with these weapons and armor then the vanilla one. What it needs is enhanced toolset to support modding comunitty and story related DLCs.
Hell even additional quests DLC would be kind of cool.

Because after paying full price for 40% of a game, I'm just yearning to stump up more money for some textures.

I think you guys owe us at least 6 months of "DLC" before we're even on the retail price we already paid.


I tell you what, I'll give you $1.50 to have proper iso view back.
