you mean like the whole dragon age 2 game?  id have preferred to wait a year longer for DA2, but nooo get it out now, dont worry how unpolished clunky and shallow it is

I agree with you, I mean i can't wait  for them to bring out the DLC but if people continue to nag and BW finally threw their hands in the air, i'd have no doubt people would only complain about the quality of it. 

Just be patient and happy that they are at least working on something now!!

The Witcher 2, NWN, Baulders Gate, DAO, and Elder Scrolls Skyrim will be out soon, and then there is The Witcher.

I may even play Wolfenstein again for a laugh. I just complain abaut DA2 cause it pissed me off so bad for a $60 game.

I can agree with you on this here. Definately wasn't worth the money we had to pay for it.

i like how the new mage staff adds +15% damage against undead and DEMONS when it does spirit damage and demons are immune to spirit damage...

I've only played with the mage stuff so far but this is a pretty cool pack. I especially like the stories we get with each item (in the codex) and how they add to Malcolm's story.

"Too long?" The game came out an incomplete product (albeit, a very polished, incomplete product with amazing gameplay). That it came out incomplete was one of the top complaints of the player base. In an odd way, I'm actually happy that there are no major DLC packs out yet, because it means we will be getting more of that great gameplay, but with a complete product this time around.

Am I doing something wrong here, I download, install and it says it did everything properly yet I still don't have the items in my chest or anything about them in my journal. Help Please!

I'll wait until it is cheaper, and if it never is I won't bother to download it. I like the idea but an early posters comment about the Horse DLC of Oblivion is exactly on the mark. Bioware can do better than this, hopefully at some point they will and I'll buy that.
There is no shortage of great games coming out in the future for RPG fans like me that show more respect for my dollar, and my relationship as a customer than asking me to pay $5 that adds roughly what a programmer putting in a nice mod can do on a weekend for free.
You may keep selling a few times doing things like this but each time they do they lose a few more people and that keeps multiplying and adding up, but heaven forbid a North American company plan for a time horizon longer than their next annual financial report. Really what happened to making quality products that consumers could depend on and brag about? oh right doesn't make enough money.

Yeah that was a ramble but look at the rest of this topic line.

The itms are in the room with 3 chests.. iirc its to the left of the room that has the main chest (been like 2months since played so forgive me)

 Bioware plucked at my curiosity so got the fulll package. Got it today . Love the mage gear.

I think it was a good idea to make some of the items level-dependent. In DAO I used to just put on the battledress of the provocateur right away and that was it. This way I get a new thing every few levels.

No I mean they weren't there, I did the newest patch and they were there again.
