Rewriting Thedas history is fine, the trolling part is continually throwing it in peoples faces, none of which agree with your "rewrite".

Well I hate her.
I've not trolled. If this isn't fan fiction. What is it? It belongs in the fan creation forum because that's exactly what it is.

Fan fiction.

I am an avid fanfiction writer.

Writing Fan-Fiction means you're writing within the confines and already set rules of an existing fictional universe, made by someone else. If I write outside those rules, I never re-write what happened like it's better or fact, I write around it, I make it fit; so it makes sense according to the universe I'm writing for.

Completely re-writing another author's hard work isn't fan-fiction. [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/angry.png[/smilie]

Yes but not everything has been changed. Just few things added. It's still fan creation.

Ok, so I suppose we should all just stop responding here and let it get locked by a mod after you bumped it for the 3rd or 4th time.

Says the guy who bumped it himself. If you don't like the creation, don't view it.

God? Why are some people so incredibly dumb?

Indeed.

Once you start violating the established cannon, you're just writing in your own setting that looks and smells a lot like the setting of the real author's work.

It's not fan fiction. So? Move on then. I don't think anyone cares if it's fan fiction or not save for a few busy bodies who turned this topic off-topic.

I'm not sure if randomly made-up rehashes of the core setting, written in broken and barely legible English, are on-topic to begin with.

Nothing was broken or illegible about it. I'm sorry if this creation offended you but it's time to move on and toughen up. If it's off-topic as you think it is, don't post in it.

This is cleary the fan creation forum yes? So how is this fan creation off-topic?

Eh.

At the very least, I think your fanfic requires a considerable amount of alterations, and perhaps a total rewrite. I can see what you're trying to accomplish, though I do think that you need to refine your ideas.

If you are under the age of 10, or learning English as a second language, I appologize.

If you are a teen or an adult and English is your native language, than your education, both in school and of your own accord, has failed you.  Your original post is a mess of run-on sentences, sentence fragments, poor paragraph construction, and misuse of words, and you change randomly between tenses.

That doesn't even touch on the conceptual issues of the idea you're trying to present.

Appologize isn't even a word. How dare you criticise me when you can't even spell correctly.

Perhaps you're just trolling or perhaps you are actually serious, in which case your education has actually failed you completely.

On the bright side, you've provided a very good example of irony. In any case, shame on you for not seeing the story in the first post was a joke. If you thought I was serious about tranquil mages being the wives of templars (which doesn't even sound serious in the first place) then it's your own fault for taking the first post too seriously.

At the very least. Spell check what you write and use Google to make sure what you write is correct before saying someone sucks at English because you really provide a great example of irony. If I were you, I wouldn't even come back here, I'd crawl into a dark corner and pray that I was forgotten by humanity.

Unlike you, I was neither presenting a work of fiction, nor playing at presenting a work of fiction, nor trolling.

A single typo in a reply hardly qualifies as "irony" in the face of the tripe you posted.

I have a hard time believing that your post was a joke, as jokes are supposed to be amusing in some way, to someone other than the person telling them.

Unlike you, I wasn't trolling or being an idiot or providing fine examples of irony.

What you posted wasn't a typo. You should proof read what you post. Weren't you taught anything at school? What you wrote was a small comment, the best you could have done was proof read it at least. It's not like it takes long.

If you didn't find the OP funny. Fine. Move on.

Evidently, you aren't even aware of what a typo is.  Oh well.  Or irony for that matter -- you post that blithering mangled tripe in your OP, and then have the balls to dance about and crow and point because of a single typo when someone spells out what a mess it was?  I'm not sure if that's more or less pathetic than the "oh wait it was a joke" backpeddling you're doing now.

Evidently you aren't aware of what anything is or what to take seriously and what not to take seriously. You only need to check my art thread that I have created to see that I'm not serious about any of my creations. They're jokes to make people laugh. You can claim your spelling mistakes are typos if you want. It's your fault for not remembering what you were taught at school about proof reading. So you still fail.

I'm sorry if you expected something great with this thread but it's probably time for you to move on.

You keep typing, and all that comes out is "blah blah troll blah blah troll blah".

But please, keep trying.  The only funny thing here is you flailing about trying to save face.  They're not laughing with your jokes, they're laughing at you.

Flailing? Is that another typo? Or don't you know what that word means because it certainly makes no sense with your sentance, pretty much like everything else you keep spewing out from your ass.

XD

PROOF READ B*TCH.

I don't yield to fools. The guy provides some comic relief for this forum, especially with all his irony examples where he spells words wrong and doesn't even proof read. I think he was homeschooled at best. It would explain why he doesn't know how to socialise and why he doesn't proof read what he posts.

When your entire argument is based on a single typo, that's what's commonly referred to as "grasping at straws".  Oh, I didn't bother copying my text into software with a spell checker, checking it, and then copying it back.  Oh my now, that does really count as "irony" in comparison to the semi-literate drivel of your original post, doesn't it?

If you don't understand how "flailing" can be used in reference to someone's writing or arguments, then perhaps you need to familiarize yourself with a broader range of writing.  It's a fairly common usage.

http://dictionary.re...browse/flailing

flail  (flāl)
v. flailed , flail·ing , flails

  • To move vigorously or erratically; thrash about.

To strike or lash out violently.

Which I clearly stated that it didn't make any sense with what you wrote like everything else you spew out. Flailing is not common usage. You clearly meant to use "failing" and now in defense say you meant to spell it as "flailing". Well done but I've seen through this. If you think calling others idiots makes you intelligent then you're just kidding yourself. It makes me sad that dumb idiotic hateful people like you exist who serve no true purpose in life. What you're doing here will get you no where in life, if you feel happy trolling and being an idiot. Good. That happiness will go away soon enough and you'll return to your sad, dark and desolute life.

But enough. You've turned this topic into something else. You're just trolling now.

Yes it is indeed. ^_^

Yield:

A. To give over possession of, as in deference or defeat; surrender.

B.
To give up (an advantage, for example) to another; concede.

Clearly you don't know the meaning of many words apart from words seldom seen these days like the basement dweller that you are.

Alright, pulling the plug on this thread. Such combative attitudes are unwelcome on these forums
