I admit it, I bought DA2 because of DA:O and I could not wait to play it. As a result, I was in for some disappointment as the majority posts can attest to. The only positive experience I had in spending the 60.00 was that I was able to receive Mass Effect 2 for free which I am playing now. Now that is a sequel done correctly.

Anyway, I will not ever pre-order anything from Bioware again as I would probably get burned by them. They have lost a dedicated customer for Dragon Age.

I'm actually very happy with my DA2 Steam pre-order and plan to pre-order ME3 later this year.

Considering Dragon Age 2 is a fine game, why would I have any problem with pre-ordering another BioWare game.

Stop trying to tell everyone the sky is falling. And wipe the tears out of your eyes while you're at it, won't you?

If you're going to try and tell everyone on this forum to stop criticizing this game, you have a lot of work a head of you.

I'll pre-order ME3 when the option becomes available but i was already wary of the DA series due to stability issues (go look DA Orgins PC support forum before you start a arguement with me about stability)

Glad i didn't since i was a big fan of Origins (enough to finish it multiple times even though i almost wore out the quick save key on my keyboard) so i would have been very disappointed in the way DA2 went.

As a £9.99 budget game its a pleasent suprise though :)

I might depending on the info and gameplay footage for ME3.

I didn't mind ME2 at all, mainly because it was an action rpg from the start and the polish he was given made it as good if not superior to ME1 in the end. Though I still hated some parts, like the planet surveying....

DA3 however can go down in flames and crash into the crowd of derps that love it for it's ability to be played without having to think.

SW:TOR, I do however plan on pre-ordering B)

Ultimate Editions.

Complete game with the least amount of bugs, just as a Day 1 release should look like.

That is a weird thing to ask.

But I will, of course. I have got crock-****s of cash.

No, I won't. In fact Bioware's fumble has made me a little shy about pre-ordering from anyone, not just Bioware.

How did people get burned on DA2? What changes from DAO to DA2 weren't announced well in advance?

(As for the question, I never preorder anything myself.)

I'll never preorder a Bioware game again. DAII was the first, and most definitely the last. Even if DA3 looks like it might be the best RPG since Baldur's Gate 2 (unlikely), I'm still only going to buy it after reviews are out.

I don't see any rational reason why I would make such a choice a this time.

After you wipe your, anyway, I have a right to speak my mind considering I spent 60.00 on what was promised and what was delivered. But in case you missed, please check the threads such as the constructive criticism.

The massive amounts of reused areas along with the rushed and fragmented storyline as a couple of examples.
Can't say I ever remember catching those features in the advertising campaign nor were they really a carry over from Origins.
