Not unless they go back to releasing their 'signature/collectors' editions in the same manner that DA:O and ME2 were done.

Was disappointed in the mediocre plastic case and lack of extras in DA2's 'signature' edition. Seems like they've been infected with the disease that eventually overtakes all developers assimilated by the 'umbrella corp' of gaming.

Not as long Laidlaw is still in charge of DA3.

Yes, but not out of blind faith or anything. So I can get it the day it comes out and then give my two cents on what worked and what didn't. It's so I can enjoy the game for the story, and if I don't enjoy the story that was given I make my own that works on paper.

I love DA2. it's a good game, but it still has flaws. It's moved some things in the right direction, but those things need tweaking. It could've had an epic story if it wasn't rushed for development. The combat is for the most part perfect, save for 2 handed warriors and maybe dagger wielding rogues and that enemies are using the same style of combat as Origins with maybe a 1-2% attack speed increase.

One person had the audacity to say I have low standards in video games because I love DA2 despite me saying it was still flawed. Apparently me liking something he/she didn't means I have no taste in video games. No, it means I can appreciate something without being blind to the pitfalls it suffers from.

Pretty much this...if I like the sounds of a game enough and I feel like there is a reason for pre-ordering (lower price than going to a store, special bonus or I really want to play on the day it is released, etc.) then I will.  If I want to wait and read more reviews or get more feedback first or whatever, then I won't.  I didn't love DA2 but it wasn't the worst game I've ever played and I'm not going to totally change my normal buying habits because of it.  I'm glad I didn't bother with the DLC, but I'd still like to see the end of the Dragon Age story.  *shrug*

I admit it, I bought DA2 because of DA:O and I could not wait to play it. As a result, I was in for some disappointment as the majority posts can attest to. The only positive experience I had in spending the 60.00 was that I was able to receive Mass Effect 2 for free which I am playing now. Now that is a sequel done correctly.

Anyway, I will not ever pre-order anything from Bioware again as I would probably get burned by them. They have lost a dedicated customer for Dragon Age.

Yeah, well, I can't say I'll be pre-ordering anything Dragon Age related.

I'll still be pre-ordering ME3 the second that I can, though.

I guess I will.

But I'll definitly cancel it if I get reviews/ a demo that suggests that the game could be utter rubbish and don't just stay dumb and faithful like with DA2 and tell myself "hey, its BioWare it will be great". So perhaps Mike Laidlaw is right and I was an idiot for buying DA2.

BioWare games tend to go real cheap real fast so I will wait. Big NO on future dragon age games and Old Republic and strong MAYBE on other titles.

ME3 will be the last one. I want to know how I can kill Reapers, no matter how bad/good the game will be. After that, no way. I don´t care how many awesome buttons they add and how much nitroglycerine random ninjas in full platemail have to drink in DA3.

I never preorder games. On principle, I want to know what I'm buying and though I'm interested im ME3 I won't kick the habbit and have a good close look before opening my wallet. If it turns out to be DAII quality I wait for the price drop, which shouldn't be long.

I've never pre-ordered a game before until Dragon Age II. I loved BioWare though, and especially Origins, and so I took a gamble with this game. I learned a harsh lesson on purchasing through faith alone. I wouldn't mind the game quite so much if I had just waited for all of these sales and saved myself a bit of cash in the process.

Until the developers respond to the feedback on DAII through their future content (DLC, expansions, or the next installment), then I'm going to remain skeptical. I've already decided that I will buy Mass Effect 3. I'm less inclined to pre-order it, but their development team seems to be listening to the feedback and trying to make changes for the better (instead of changes simply because certain individuals like something else better, despite such a successful predecessor).

Why not? I mean, creator always try their best to make good games. We should be happy about what Bioware created. Every game cannot be a master piece.

Dragon Age Origins is a master piece and Dragon Age 2 may be disappointing, but because of the Origins, I would be very curious for the next Dragon Age 3. Honestly I would probably pre-order it.

Yes, I will pre-order any Bioware games that I want.

Title should read "Will anyone pre-order from EA again?".

Considering how ME2, DA:O DLC(heck DLC in general) and DA2 turned out? NOPE.

I pre-ordered Mass Effect 3 and SWTOR. I'm sorry but for you guys who are dissapointed but I found DA2 pretty good, not the best game ever made but something really decent who valued its price. Maybe I'm not one of those ''strategists hardcore'' gamers, but I'm someone who likes and enjoy well-written stories and DA2 is a good Story IMO, original, different, not really complex but still enough... and of course I can't just wait to know what kind of fate will happens to my Shepards.

And if DA3 is announced, I'll pre-order it.
And if KOTOR 3 is announced, I'll pre-order it.
And if Sonic Chronicles 2 is announced, I'll... no I wont but I'll buy it 20 bucks.

Why?

Sorry, but that kind of reasoning always aggravates me to no end. It's a business with a company wanting to sell products and the customers paying for products. No, we as customers should not be happy regardless of quality. And that goes for the whole industry, starting with toilet seats and ending with games.
