I have played ME2 for the first time due to the free give away and I loved it. As a result, I also went out on Steam and downloaded ME1 as well and I am now plyaing that, once finished with ME1, I will redo ME2 for ME3.
Now that was a sequel done correctly, as for the DA series, I am afraid I am done with it, I no longer have any interest in the game or any of its DLCs.
Will anyone pre-order from Bioware again?

YEs, I'm pre-ordering ME 3, but before I do I want to know what I'm getting first. If bioware makes a DA 3 and they bring back the races customibility again. I'll pre-order from them on the dragon age front, but until I get something like that again I'm not going to do such a thing.

Have they? Really? If they say they've fixed things for DA3, are you going to wait a month after it comes out to make sure you have a demo? My guess is 'No.' You may not pre-order it, but if they speak the words you want to hear, you'll buy it anyways.
The smart move is to play the demo first, make sure you like the game, and then wait a month for reviews to come out. Price might even go down.
I only pre-order games I know I have a high chance of liking. The only company I blindly pre-order things from is Valve, and that's because they haven't made a crap game yet. Mostly because they take 3+ years to make games.
So, good for you. You've learned your lesson!

I actually preordered the game becuase I loved the first game. While details leaked out, I was still hopeful that at least the spirit of the original would remain intact and I would similarly enjoy the sequel.

I will definitely pre-order ME3, whatever the super-special-mega-uber-collector's edition is.
If there's a DA3, imma wait for it to come out and for a pile of reviews before I consider buying it (I WILL be paying close attention to it's development, tho).

I preordered DA2, and thankfully the demo saved me from throwing away another $60.
I learned my lesson, I won't preorder anymore Bioware games, not so long as they're trying to sell bad action games and passing them off as RPGs. They might've had a chance if they didn't keep claiming these things were RPGs, but if they're going to lie to me about it, I'll wait for the forum reactions. Especially since the gaming press has proven pretty biased.

This. Well except for the saving of 60 bucks, the demo didn't seem sooo bad at the time. Of course they didn't send you through the same freaking cave 30 times in the demo.

Will do ME3 collectors edition, since I have done same for 1&2 and want to have it. Although sadly, I am expecting game to be another hyped up, half baked piece..... Spiced up with bunch of paid pre release reviews and shiny commercials by EA to fool gullible people like me.If it turns out to be true, well than this is last time i waste money on anything Bioware/EA unless its in the value pack binfor 20$.

I kind of hope they tone down or stop with the preorder bonuses, I don't really like having to choose whether to order on faith to get extra stuff or make a more informed decision and miss out.

I have enjoyed DA2. while I did think that the story could have been done better and they shouldn't have re-used the environments so much, I am still happy with it overall and will continue to be unless the future DLC stories just bury it.
I have already started paying on my ME3 pre-order and am waiting for the special edition to be announced so I can switch my order over to that.

I have to admit I pre-ordered DA2 due to Origins being freaking awesome. However DA2 was a huge letdown for me personally. While it's not a completely bad game, hardly mediocre is not what I would have expected from BioWare.
So in conclusion no, I won't preorder a game from BW ever again.

ToR I never had any intention of playing right from the very start - best to let it mature for a little while before jumping in.
But ME3? Words cannot express how pumped I am for it, and I'll be ordering the Collector's Edition as soon as I can.
