Their conduct in these last couple months has done nothing but polarize the subsets of opinionated consumers involved with this product's release. David Gaider and the rest have reacted to fan opinion juviniley and with an air of elitism that is generally frowned upon within marketing and sales. Bioware has pounded the nail into the coffin regarding more "fans" than I imagine they ever intended. And now, on top of it all, they release a spectacularly overpriced piece of DLC aimed at nothing more than cash expansion while bugs and problems still infest many player's experiences and you end up with an even more upset fanbase..

A few of Bioware's employee's who we are fortunate to deal with have been like that/this ever since the Bazaar fiasco....

Welcome to an EA owned company. The Bioware of 5 years ago would never have acted like this.

These idiotic threads still going?

DOA was a mediocre RPG product at best, which is why it is amusing to see the obsessive love this young, very vocal group of rabid fanbois have for this rather poor game. It tries to be both a modern and traditional RPG, and fails - simple as.

And this bunch of rabid fans, instead of looking at the classic RPG's to see where DA2 could be improved, constantly compare it to this rather poor and very recent product? Give me a break.

Good thing Bioware ignored the rants of the fanbois and paid more attention to sensible customers, and produced a modern RPG that was actually fun to play.

First: Calling us fanbois doesn't give any credibility to your post. If you condemn us like that why should we listen?

Second: Why should we not compare DA2 to DAO. It's the sequel. If there is anything to compare a sequel to it's predecessor.

They wouldn't have released a rushed and mediocre game like this too.

Surprised you so easily associated with the 'obessive rabid fanboi' group. LoL.

Feel free to not listen - I don't care. And hope Bioware continue to ignore you guys.

I feared that talking to allies like in Origins was gone, i was right. Totally did not expect the **** load of recycled levels, great twist there.

Hmmmm...I would have to guess that I'm a lot older than you lol....

As for your comment re 'classic RPGs'.....DA:O was closer to the 'classics' than DA2 ever will be....which kind of nullifies your argument somewhat.

Thirdly, if you don't like these kind of threads, why waste time posting in them.

I didn't fear any thing, i had my suspicions though and these were largely confirmed on playing the game.

its not really surprising the things I thought I wouldn't like prior to game release ended up being the things I didn't liked when playing the game

1. Ya think?  Keep guessing then.

2. Either give me the detailed combat mechanics and ability customizations of a classic RPG.  Or a proper modern RPG.  But not a mediocre compromise - which is what DOA is.

3. For fun of course.  Doh!  What are you posting here for - to show your support for the new age RPG youngsters (aka the aforementioned 'rabid fanbois')?

See confirmation bias. That explains a lot. the rest of it is to be expected and well within the big bell curve of like and don't like.

Anyone else sense a huge bit of irony here?

Amazing.  That you're still responding to me :)  I must have really gotten under your skin with the "rabid fanboi" stereotype.  It's true though, innit?  Fanbois can't stand other peoples' views.  The DA2 hate on this board is immature and 'deserves' to be made fun of.
