The good

- my team do not become immortal anymore and they actually will fight
- I did tweak my tactics to include just one simple action and use aggressive. Now my team fights and varric shoots his bow as fast as I would like but fenris and isabella unfortunately are still slow, and they will not leave an area of danger.

THE BAD!
- Using "dispel" is nearly an automatic freeze. There were times i really wanted to use this but I KNEW it would freeze my game so I fight without it.

- some of the spells still don't work as intended. I am a master in the primal school but dont notice any of the benefits, like petrify is set at 15s duration. With Galvanism that increases 125%,  I think nightmare mode decreases some but only 4 seconds still? Spending a point on Galvanism gave me no increase.

- mission bugs with "who needs rescuing" and one of merrill's quest I forget the name but her last mission I cant talk to her at her home.

- enemy targeting is still crap


MISC

- whoever said defense is capped at 80% for regular enemies and even lower for LTS and bosses are incorrect. You can reach 80% for all enemy types, whether or not it actually works is another debate.

- whoever said armor does not stop spells are somewhat incorrect. Armor is useless against elemental but effective against ANY physical attack except assassins cheap backstab (nightmare).

i never get who need rescuing after the patch

I'll tell you what happened to me. I got the mission in my letters at home. I went to the wounded coast but didnt find anyone. I went back and i did find the girl close to where I entered. I talk to the girl and i get several options like "your father sent me" "dream about me (romance option) or "im taking you with me!". Looking for cheap entertainment value i choose the romance option, the bandits appeared behind me. I defeated them and the girl walks off by herself talking about she has to find fenriel her love and walks out of the wounded coast (dissapears). The quest remains open like i never did anything.

For me I can't name any of my new characters, It wont even let me click on it to create a name.. Anyone else with this problem

If you start a new playthrough after the patch, you won't even be able to get Who Needs Rescuing... no letter appears at the Estate. Intentional?
