Seems that way. I remeber going trough the DA Isabela group's art and that dude was EVERYWHERE.

Man, from what I've seen from the fandom there's been more het than slash/femslash!  At least on the sites I've been to. Mostly, the fics/videos I've seen are female writers pairing Fenris with their Hawke!self (not even the default Marian). I want more gay!!!

Personally, I like Isabela with F!Hawke better. To me it seems more genuine. But I am, admittedly, biased.

The majority of fanfiction is written by straight women and reflects their interests!

I find lesbian and gay pairings more interesting than heterosexual ones.  Hetero is everywhere so when you get the rare chance for s/s pairings, I jump at that opportunity.

I find f/f and f/m pairings more interesting than m/m. I need a woman involved, preferably a super fantastically awesome one. Men are everywhere, and I presonally hate the idea of shunting a strong woman aside so a dude can play hero again because two dudes together is squeeworthy and hot.

As for Isabela, she appeals to me on that super fantasically awesome level because she's also pretty ****ing pro-woman, and not just in a "nice to look at and screw" kind of way. She's supportive of her fellow ladies and, as a woman who appreciates such things, that's immensely appealing.
