Out of interest, (and this is my first time on this tech support board so apologies if this is naive), but wouldn't you expect an official response by now - this thread is 19 days old and that seems a bit too long to go without official help.
No, you shouldn't expect quick response. They have sold the game to you already, and there are no more DLCs planned, so why should they care?
Here's what I found on Steam forums though:
"I had this problem with connecting to Dragon Age servers (not
recognizing my login properly) so I contacted EA support a few days ago.
They said they are experiencing problems with their login servers and
their engineers are working on a fix. I assume it applies to ME servers as well."
So they are aware, they just suck at communicating it to us.

You are right. I logged into a different email account and I was able log-in to the game. It is on their side of the server.Pixiestick wrote...
For customer service to look into this problem, EVERYBODY who gets the
"Error You have lost your connection to the Dragon Age servers. You will be unable to access online features of the title until you connect again. [3;800f0000(SDK_ERR_DISCONNECT_OVERFLOW)]"
message when trying to log in the game needs to contact tech support to show that this is a widespread problem and not just a single occurrence.
To prove that it's a fault on the DA server side and not yours, log in with a different e-mail (it takes 5 mins to make one if you don't have one).
We can't expect to change anything if we do not bring this problem to their attention.

Reinstalling should be a LAST option for a gamer. Not the first. And with this many people having issues, it's not on your end.
You can also delete a file that erases your login/profile info, forcing the game to rebuild it.
Most of the game files are static and dont change. So unless you have had a virus or other HD issue.. the only files than can get damaged are:
save game
game config files
user EA login profile (also stores offline cached info for authorized DLC) (C:\\Users\\xxx\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age 2\\Settings\\profile.dap) - BACKUP this file! Do NOT just delete it.
Since the BW server are wonky, if you delete the file, ALL DLC goes unauthorized. Restoring the file, restores DLC previously authorized. So don't lose this file
All of which can be reset WITHOUT reinstalling the game.
TBH if you got a "reinstall", I'd re contact support and demand a supervisor. Reinstalling helps in some cases when the game is majorly broken (from a bad install, virus/worm./trojan/, HD failure).
Honestly when a tech support tells you to reinstall something (be it a game, OS X, Windows, etc), it either means 1) usually they have no clue what your problem is so they hope a reinstall fixes it, or 2) the issue is so bad nothing but a reinstall can fix it. Usually #1 is the case 90% of the time
Lastly, if you are emailing support, point them to this thread

I know quite well that reinstalling my game doesn't fix anything, but since they absolutely refused to give me the same workaround solution as they gave everybody else, i.e. moving the dlc to another account, I'm stuck not being able to use the dlc I've already paid for.
I am extremely mad and disappointed at the situation, but sadly all I can do about it is come here and vent my frustration...at least until I get banned for having an opinion.

At least there is someone working on it.
I wouldn't bet on it.

I sent the senior support agent i worked with to this thread. basically, i was only able to work around the problem by transferring my dlc from my skcm account to a new one they created for me--and was able to do it with the affected da2 content. make sure you ask to have your ticket escalated to senior support and you may get better help.
good luck!
Supposedly I have been talking to their senior support staff, and they flat out refused to do this work around thing...like I said before. They actually got quite shirty when I asked them to transfer my dlc to my other account, or at least refund dlc.

i talked to ea support, and they suggested turning fire wall off for my anti-virus, and bypassing my router and going directly through my modem, and lastly a reinstall.
while i talked to support i turned the McAfee firewall off and i logged in just fine. it may not work again, but i at least have my DLC in a usable state.

How do you bypass your router?

If you have no question to ask about tech matters, you are off topic. This is the wrong place for whining, ranting, raving, complaining. That's OFFICIAL support, not us in here. We're Self Help Tech, just like it says on top.
Whinning? this is the place, seeing there is no answers or help from either game maker or the publisher for a problem that is theirs. So just go away and play with your ego somewhere else... you ironic little man. Also I do not require your assistance, seeing it would be as useless as EA's support centre and just as aragant.

But you're not asking about a specific technical issue, just ranting about the poor customer service you received from EA, and you're directing that rant to other players, not anyone who can do anything about it.Wompoo wrote...

That's why GA said "wrong forum".

Go to C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Dragon Age 2\\addins\\da2_mtx_mag and open the manifest.xml and change RequiresAuthorization="1" to RequiresAuthorization="0"
Do the same thing in C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Dragon Age 2\\addins\\da2_mtx_rog and C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Dragon Age 2\\addins\\da2_mtx_war
Like I said, it doesn't work for me...it would be awesome if someone could tell me why and if I need to change something else. The tech support person actually told me how to change these things for DA:O and I had to figure out how to "translate" that for DA 2 myself.
This should theoretically make the dlc not require authorization and therefore make it work even if you can't log in.
I hope this helps at least some of you.
