I thought it was interesting, and funny. It added a bit to Casaandra's character, and I think originally she was going to make an appearance in the game and meet the Champion!

Yeah, they should've left that one in. But what's more interesting about that is Connor was supposed to make an appearance. He sounds grown up now and hopefully not trifling with blood magic. We have enough of those already. Could he be a future mage companion for DA3?

Pity there was no Connor in DA2 for the final release.
Glad to see Teagan's made Arl.

I have thought that either him or Feynriel could be companions in future depending on choises.
But i assume they're both as unlikely as they are likely.

i don't think they are likely; depriving some people of a companion or major retconning... oh wait...
i don't like connor enough to want him as a companion. teagan though, with the DAO face, now that i would appreciate. he would be the stable older warrior guy that lots of folks seem to want for an LI. (but might be a little boring in the bioware crazy universe. will definitely need to be well written to avoid being dull).
my wardens always hit on teagan

even Cassandra criticises the time skips and number of blood mages!

Shows you that DA2 had it all. EA just didn't let Bioware finish it.

We could have saved conner from templars? WANT
And from her mention of hawke taking up knitting, I'm more convinced dlc will fill those gaps in time.

Shame that Connor didn't appear in DA2.
I loved the line about loading time at doors. XD Priceless.

Sounded like Hawke was going to meet the Seekers at some point. I wonder if this is either truly cut content or possible DLC material.
Then again, I recall some people finding dialogue options mentioning Flemeth during Feynriel's Fade quest as well as a codex entry regarding Arl Foreshadow that seemingly didn't get in the game either.

EA, please allow Bioware the time needed to finish DA3. That is all.

Connor's quest not showing up is probably just a bug. There's a lot stuff you don't get because of bugs.

Posté 08 mai 2011 - 05:43
Well it could have been cut due to timing issues or for any number of other reasons. There is cut material from pretty well every game, even ones that are universally well received of have taken years to make.

Yay =) great find. Some really fun lines there. Dancing the remigold, love that one. Good to hear a little about Connor, my Hawkes always saves him so I would really like to see him later on. Now my Hawkes always saves Feynriel, hope that won't come back and bite me later on. Tevinter is perhaps not the best place to grow up in. Hope he won't turn into some kind of evil bloodmage while studying there.

Well now it is confirmed that the gaps in time were from the beginning intended to be filled with dlc content, a good thing if you ask me, if any dlc is to improve the game sustantially it needs to be in the middle and not right at the end.
