I used the updater and it is a dazip file. I click to install and at the end of installation it says "Error." I have the Ultimate Edition and started at the top of the list and was going down but found they were not in chronological order. I ropse a couple of levels in Witch Hunt and got the tome to Respec and I would like to keep that if possible.
 I am running Windows 7 64bit.

Sorry... what exactly are you attempting to do? Patch Witch Hunt?

Sorry, but I think you were misinformed.  First, Ultimate Editon comes with Witch Hunt already patched to ver. 1.1.

More importantly, you cannot tranfer characters from the DLC back into Origins or Awakening.  Awakening will only accept a character from Origins.  Chronologically speaking, the "Other Campaign" DLC with the Warden... Golems of Amgarrak and Witch Hunt... take place *after* the events in Awakening.  However, once you unlock achievements in the DLC, the bonus items associated with them (Vestments of the Seer, etc) will appear in you Origins or Awakening inventory.  But the characters will not transfer.

In Awakening, you can buy a "manual of focus" or something like that from one of the vendors at Vigil's keep... they're inexpensive and unlimited in supply.  See:  http://dragonage.wik...Manual_of_Focus
