Hi All,

I am trying to use the Sunken Ruins tileset and have changed the elevation of the floors to being lower than some surrounding tiles.

I have baked and tested the lower tiles and found that my PC (and items placed in the tile) are all at the higher level with other tiles and not at the "sunken" level of the lower tile.

Is there a trick to this, or do they just not work?

Many Thanks.

Lance.

Try searching this on the forums. I remember a thread on this a few months back. I wasn't involved, so I don't know any specifics, but I remember seeing the thread.

Hi Matt,

I have already tried searching before posting, but no results came back. Image IPB

EDIT: This is bizarre! Ihave just reloaded the module and it now works fine. If anyone can give me the reason for this happening, it would be good to know so I can avoid causing whatever does it in the future.

Is it possible when you played the mod, or prior to reloading, you had used the older directory file of the mod instead of the newer, baked version? I've never run into that problem you had, specifically, but that's the only thing on my mind.

Hi CW,

Well, I even deleted the trn file and reloaded and had problems, but for some reason it worked after yet another reload. Most strange. Maybe there was something hanging around in a temporary file that needed flushing?

If it happens again, I will let you know.

Lance.

When you first add a tile in the toolset, the walkmesh becomes 'stuck' on the default tile. Even if you cycle through the tile options, when you bake it that first time only the default walkmesh is baked.

You have to close the area tab in the toolset and reopen it again before the modified tile's walkmesh will bake properly. It's one of the many annoying bugs in the toolset.

Hi DannJ,

Ah! That does sound like it! Image IPB

Good to know that one.

Many thanks!
