I will probably pick up the ship captain fight and pehaps the wilmod battle. Can't think of anything else worthy of including.

If I have to lose to someone, I guess Jack Nader is ok, he's adorable. If I lost to you or the worst player, however, I'd break my DA2 disc in half and stab myself with it.

Rogue archer? Elemental warrior?(with using disorient combos)

Thug Rogue
21 ish str/con for stun immune gloves
silverite belt
cap of antivan king
rogue boots
Wall shield

Dont need knockback ring so far in act 2, I'm loving it.  It can tank normal and below.

You've done 2H, which hasn't changed much. SnS, although you hate it, can be pretty rape. You don't need CON anymore as the CON you get from DLC items is now hugely overpowered. All into strength.

Rogue also hasn't changed much, except, you didn't do an archer yet. Somehow I don't think that fits your style of play, though.

Mage ... nothing new anymore, except you might want to try out your crit-mage again, but it has to be spirit. Strategy wise, nothing new.

So, looking forward to your Archer gameplay.

Archers are fun, with the evolving DLC bow, there is great potential for an early game elemental archer, played around with one the other day till about lvl 7 or something. Not bad with fire boosting eq but the damage of the bow is weaker than physical bows till about lvl 12.

 Since you're playing rogue again it's the perfect opportunity to update your guide with  a weapons/armor/trinkets section *hint hint nudge nudge* :innocent:

Why? The only good thing in Dual Weapons is Twin Fangs,while Archers got three powerfull Aoe Attacks(Rain of Arrows,Archers Lance and Bursting Arrow/two of of them could used for Cross class Combos).

Working on that deep roads dragon atm.. 1 minute 6 is my best time so far. It's very sloppy tho.. i'm going to have to mess about with party configurations and see if I can't lock this dragon down more so my DW rogue can wail on it. I waste a good chunk of time just dodging his attacks.

you really need to stop speaking from ignorance; Chain is 20% standing crit for 1 ability point, Explosive Strike is stellar damage, Twin Fangs cooldown is incredibility short for the damage, DW does more damage than Archery.

I'm working on a DW Rogue right now.  Mostly out of a sense of masochism, I'm going to run:

DW Hawke, Isabela, Anders, Merrill.  Insane and masochistic?  YUP.  Dual Vendettas flying all over the place?  YES PLEASE.

I linked to quick sketches of what each skillset is like.  I don't know if I like what I did with Anders and Merrill though.  Without having Staggers, I have no idea where to dump points.  And if you look, yes, I totally just dumped 9 points into the Elemental tree so Merrill has more Brittle options.

Maybe this is the playthrough where I decide I'm cool enough to buy video-making stuff...

Backstab and lacerate are crap,twin fangs was mentioned(good),with explosive strike you have to build up the chain first.

All of this abilties are still single target abilities,and only one of it could be used for a cross class combo.(explosive strike)

If pinning shot wouldnt be still bugged(but still work as least as crowd control),archery would have 3 abilities that could be used for that.Bursting Arrow could also be used to obscure companions.
For me,thats a lot of advantages.(and "safety" as someone who deals damage from a distance)

Twin Fangs is sick, you'll almost always have a chain going anyways for Explosive Strike (+ chains spread across enemies, so you can load up on a trash guy and then unload on his Elite buddy next to him), and most importantly, above all else, it's not BORING.

I never said one or the other was better, I said that I'd rather watch mr afk play than use a bow.

How the heck do you put these videos together so fast. It takes me forever to make them.

I've gotten pretty proficient with Sony Vegas over all the vids I've made, so unless I'm doing something really artsy-fartsy, it doesn't take more than 10 minutes.

Caveat is that it takes at least an hour before the larger vids are done rendering to .wmv because my computer is slow.

lol, the footage isn't sped-up, that's the ACTUAL game speed. That's part of the reason I called it Faceroll Frenzy; I wanted to see just how hard I could break the game difficulty.
