Hey! So I have completed all loyalty missions for all characters except Samara and I'm ready to retrieve the IFF. But I cannot get the dialouge with Samara to trigger since I picked her up after doing all other recruitements and loyalty missions first. I think it triggers by doing story missions but I don't want to get the IFF before I have her loyalty.
What do I do?

You'll get it afterwards you dont need her loyalty just yet

Do some assignment missions if you still got some left, that should trigger it.

One Tip: if you get the Reaper IFF and do a side/or other mission's before doing Samara's loyalty Mission, your Kelly (The Girl who stands beside the galaxy map) is gonna get melted in SM instead of the Colonist , so you basically won't save her in time.

Can I wait with it and still not trigger the death of half my crew by doing it later? I want as few casualties as possible in the final mission.

Have you done all small side-missions(ones you find by scanning planets) too? If not, do any of those, and the dialog will trigger.
