Why Do I feel the odd one out for enjoying DA2?

But my criticisms were the recycled maps and the ending which felt abit last minute. Which I know why in real life why they did it which was simply you could not end it further on or it DA3 or DA2.5 will feel disjointed at the start.
and the recycled maps made it feel very repetitive when in real life it was not actually it was just the maps were all too familiar.
Overall I do say well done bioware on dragon age 2 but just make sure you do not do map recycling so much and satisfy the fans who like the heavy strategies in RPGs (which I am not one of those i am more into the dialogue than planning how to fight)

It's just that the complainers are louder than the fans.

Um, just the complainers? If you can't see some of the glaring flaws in DA2, then you are the "target" fanbase that Bioware was trying to reach.
I could list the ways Bioware screwed up, but you can just read the majority of threads to understand why it is a horrible game. If you liked it good for you. But don't say that it is just "complainers" who are vocal.

Most of the people who love the game are busy playing with it I imagine, except for geeks like me who play on one monitor and read/research on the otherI have had my share of criticisms too, but I am enjoying it for what it is now, and learning a great deal in the process about what makes games fun for me. =) But you aren't the odd one out, really. There is a wide array of vocalizers here, on each side of the fence. =D
I wish I could do that! I am about to jump off the forum and go play my mage.

Ok 1st of I know why many people disliked DA2 but I very much enjoyed it I only had 2 real criticisms and only one of them is major the rest of the game was brilliantly done and was well thought out like the action was more involving than DA: Origins, graphics better, great voice acting, good humour, well scripted, the story was very good and the characters were amazing probably one of the best set of bioware characters yet.
But my criticisms were the recycled maps and the ending which felt abit last minute. Which I know why in real life why they did it which was simply you could not end it further on or it DA3 or DA2.5 will feel disjointed at the start.

You play on console. No wonder you like DA2. Bioware's exact target audience.

oh no sweetie, you aren't alone! And no one is a freak or some such nonsense for loving it. There are plenty of like minded folks in your camp! *hug*
Ooh Camping trip!
And nope. Not alone. Though admitting you like it might get some people trying to insult you in truly sad ways. Like attempting to imply you have lower standards for playing on a console or somesuch. Whups, too late.

Only spiteful people will resent you for enjoying a game that you bought with your own money. It's your game and no one else's. If you enjoy it, that's a good thing. Let no one take that away from you.
However, many people didn't. And that is the issue.
Even fans of the game can objectively see that there are major flaws with the game. You yourself brought one up: re-used environments.

You sound like a bitter troll, especially considering all you do is go around this forum attacking people for liking the game.

No offense, but is English your first language? What you said makes no sense. Maybe it's a language barrier.
To complain is to vocalize dissatisfaction. People who dislike the game are more likely to vocalize their dissatisfaction. Therefore, they are louder. People who like the game are less likely to continuously voice their praise.
Anyway, the critics are obviously fewer but louder than the fans.

The way you phrased your two posts kind of irks me. I consider myself a fan, but I disliked the DA2. And I have posted in the past about it. It should read fans of this game, but it comes out like those who complain are not considered fans at all. Which I'm sure you didn't mean to do.

In a way, I'm going to approach it like this is a totally different game. No point in comparing it too much to DAO since so much gameplay-wise was changed.

I've played a little of a friend's copy. It takes getting used to but I sort of like it. Not as much as DAO, but I bet I'd get annoyed at having to revisit places so much. That annoyance wouldn't stop me from playing.

Wisest approach quite honestly. My biggest hurdle in this game was to wrap my mind around the concept of not playing it like Origins.

Oh well just ignore the failing sales, the price of DA2 that is cheaper then DA:O at many places, and on and on.
Then yea what you said would be right.
Bascially, Derp.

I just didn't love it. It didn't have a lot of staying power for me. If you liked it, that's great. I have high hopes for the DLC and the next one.
