Hey I'm trying to give Bella the tavern. I made Lloyd go fight and made sure he died. Does that automatically mean Bella keeps the tavern? I only get the option to give her money. Thanks for any help.

You have to talk to her before the battle, but after sending Lloyd to fight.
If you do that, you can have her own the place even if Lloyd lives.

I had her complain before the battle and I said I would talk with him. Then after he went to join the battle I talked with her and she commented that he left her in charge. So if i give her the 5 gold (for rp reasons) will the epilogue still say she owned the tavern or that she went to Denerim and started her own tavern?

After you send Lloyd to go fight, but before starting the battle, speak to Bella and she'll say something like, "I guess that puts me in charge".

Hmmmm, I always either extort the bar or kill Lloyd myself. If you extort it from him, you can give it to her after the battle.
