[Smilietime]

For my first paythrough of ME3, I am going to use a character that romanced Ashley in ME1, and Romanced Jack for ME2. As anyone who's done all of the side-quests/exploration in ME1 knows, Ashley is virtually invincible, meanwhile, Jack blows up space stations and parades and stuff! What do you think a fight between them would be like?

We know that Ashley got a makeover, and attackofthefanboy.com says that Jack is getting a makover too! I really like both of their characters' personalities, I can't decide between them, and they are both going to be even hotter than before!! I can't wait to see what happens, can you????

Jack is the most power biotic in the ME universe... so if she couldn't do it on her own I'd step in.

I like Ash, but she was having a hard time against the Geth at Eden Prime. Jack fought her way out of Purgatory *solo,* single-handedly killing two YMIRs in the process. Ash would get her ass handed to her.

I checked she actually kills FOUR YMIR mechs...

When I played a new character in ME 1 up to level 56, ONLY anti-vehicle weapons could injure Ashley noticably, and she'd heal up in no time. That was on Insanity Difficulty... I think Ashley can take anything Jack could dish out, unless Jack collapses a building on her, or something.

Any Ideas what their close quarters attacks will be? Ashley's a straight up puncher, and tough, I'm probably going to order her up front most of the time. But Jack, she's good at killing things from a distance, knocking down merks like rag-dolls. I don't know what Biotics would do up close, I remember Kaiden saying he "Biotic Kicked" someone. I imagine Jack using lift on the person, than sending them flying across a room; like drop-kicking a Volleyball.

These two are easily my two favorite romances from ME. Any potential confrontation is too terrifying to imagine, but too awesome to look away from. If i ever get around to finishing a 6th Shepard, I had initially planned to get around to finally romancing Tali but I almost want to do Jack again just to see it froma  safe distance from my 3 or 4 "canon" playthroughs.

Well, I'm hellbent on comparing these two. Niether of them is someone you want to ****** off, it'll be strange if they DON'T fight eachother. Anyway, we'll also get to find out how much hotter they both are in ME3, compared to before, since they are both getting makeovers.

ROTFL... Here's a thought: maybe for Jack's new look in ME3, she will look like Saffron!! YES!
Just saying, I doubt people are going to complain about a new look for Jack as much as they have for Ashley.

Ashley's a soldier, I can see her herassing Shepard, maybe knocking him down and beating him into a pulp (like Aveline does in DA2 with high rivalry). She could really do some damage at that trial... I think Jack will be part of a group of biotics, so she could hurt Shepard's cause with them. Besides, you know, blowing S**t up!

Presumably you'll be forced to pick between one or the other. After which the one you didn't pick would be the one who resents you.
And while I love Ash and intend to pick her and only her in all my other canon playthroughs, if I ever do pass over the one random playthrough I did where I 'moved on' with Jack, I'd have to pick Jack. After seeing how vulnerable she gets in that scene, I just couldn't be the guy to up and leave her.
Even though it would also mean pain on his own part having to give up Ash. It's also worth noting though that Ash herself had seemed to move on, so maybe it wouldn't have to be too painful.

Man, Shepard number 17# is going to cry his eyes out if his story ever comes up. Meanwhile Shepard numbers 1# and 2# will laugh at him.

Although I suppose I could try the ol' 'wanna make it a threesome' routine. I know it didn't work before but you never know, Ashley could find Jack's 'go to hell' attitude attractive. It might be worth a try, 17# is kind of a dick like that.

Anyway I'd prefer to see a scene where they both dump Shepard all things considered. But only if really renegade choices are made in the conversation like the aforementioned 'threesome' bit. And I'd even support God Wood's proposal to have Ashley and Jack run away into the sunset together having dumped that cheating moron Shepard and found true love with each other. Possibly after beating the sh*t out of Commander Shepard with their bare hands.
Sadly that doesn't seem likely.
Although if it does happen, I predict seeing Jack sue Shepard for custody of Grunt.

Anyway if there was a fight, well it would be powerful and destructive one but it would also be really sexy... but still I'd put my money on Jack because in a bare fist brawl I put my money on the one who is a living breathing atom bomb of biotic energy. Then again, Ash is a tough little bikkie so you never know.

Let's be clear, Ashley is my favorite of the two and definetly my default romance choice for Mass Effect in general, but Jack's a close second.

Yeah, but Jack outside of cutscenes isn't very strong (well at least I can't use her worth ****. She dies to quickly and I dislike micromanaging companions. Liara didn't have this problem.) I can't see her taking full auto to the face from someone who actually knows how to fire a gun. Plus Ash has immunity which is the greatest defensive ability of all time. EVER. If both were at there best (you can level higher in ME1 but lets say Ash only leveled overkill, immunity, and shield up or whatever it's called) I think Ash would win. But going by Jack's cutscene she could throw Ash out a window or something. There would be massive wounds on both sides though because remember, Ash gets a lot better from Eden Prime to the battle of the citadel.
