I had a conversation that was located at an area entrance so it would trigger when you appeared in the area but it wouldn't trigger when I transitioned. It would trigger if I walked into it while in the area, but if I appeared inside of it, it didn' trigger. I finally looked at the trigger in relation to the terrain and saw that the plane of the trigger was not above the walkmesh in the area that the PC was apprearing during area transition. When I re-painted the trigger so that the plane of the trigger was on the level of the walkmesh, it worked.

A previous update made it so that doing an area transition into a trigger would not start a conversations. If you want to have a conversation start or really any event occur when a player enters an area the best way to do it is with an on client enter script.

Hmmm... that's odd becaue I have lots of places where I do use triggers to start conversations when characters transition, and they always work. Could you tell me a little more? I don't want to be introducing bugs into my campaign.
