Does anyone know what's up with the mug on a table of the Blooming Rose in Act 2? It has a door symbol, when you click on it nothing happens and you can no longer interact with it.

It triggers some random dialogue with the dwarf nearby if I recall correctly.

You helped the Qun win.
Good job.

I thought so too at first but after a bit of testing I came to the conclusion that the dialogue timing is just coincidence. sometimes he says something, sometimes he doesn't and sometimes he says the same thing even if you don't touch the mug at all

It's the famous Isabella "I Win" mug. Can't you see little tiny Isabela giving a thumbs up sign on that mug?

It opens a portal to the Beer Level where you fight hordes of aggressive beer mugs. Only since there is no beer in Kirkwall, only wine and mead, the portal can't open.
/sarcasm
Though through several games, I've not found this mug I've heard references too before, so I'm not totally convinced it's real.

Definitely real. I'm staring at it now. And getting really, really annoyed that I don't know what it does.

Perhapse its just one of the many quest trigers they cut out. Like saveing the miners at the bone pit.

I think the mug toggles between opaque and translucent.

Which means it's flagged as a door, since that's what doors do when you set them active.
All I've ever gotten it to do is just sit there, though.

ROFL, ditto. I can't figure it out either. I can't figure out what Sabine's brat has to do with anything either. And I know, I KNOW, that one of my early playthroughs I got all those coterie/carta/whatever dudes hangin' in the rose in act one to jump me, but for the life of me I can't figure out what I did or how to get it to happen again.
