Pretty sure bmh would go with Isabela, by the destiny trailer. I guess being a blood mage, helping the Tevinter would be ok, I mean your getting rid of a threat to mages and Anders agrees with you. Fenris won't remember a thing, his master will just pop out his neuralizer and flash him. Yes....something like that.

LOL. My mage Hawke wasn't a blood mage, but she sure hit that.

Anyway, as to the original question: I think it depends entirely on how blood mage Hawke feels about Fenris.

Lolol I love being a blood mage in Dragon Age, especially Origins when you can make Wynne a blood mage. In fact, in DA2 I just love running around as an apostate and being the obvious legal exception to the ban on free mages.

Well, anyway, BMH would still appreciate Fenris's tight little ass, but if Fenris knew that Hawke was doing blood magic he might be a little more apprehensive about doing him. Then again, Fenris decides soon enough that Hawke is, again, the sole exception on mages sucking, so maybe not.

I don't think doing blood magic by definition makes you evil or whatever, so I don't know why that would affect Hawke selling out Fenris. More like, Aggressive!Douchebag!Hawke, no matter what the class, might sell out Fenris. I mean, Merrill wouldn't sell out Fenris and actively flips out when you try to do it, and she's a blood mage - plus Fenris is the biggest dick to her.

I hate Fenris. He's uninteresting and he's an ****. My first playthrough I essentially ignored him entirely because he was so dull and because his voice actor was so atrociously miscast. The second playthrough I decided to give him a chance and maybe even romance him, but no matter what I did... I gave him gifts, I tried to be nice to him and supportive... I quicksaved before important cutscenes to see what various dialogue options resulted in... no matter what I said or did to him he bit my head off or got sulky and unwilling to talk or otherwise had some kind of whiny temper tantrum. I didn't give him to his Tevinter slave master because I do not condone slavery, but I might do it next playthrough just so I don't have to put up with him after that.

I love that banter.  Fenris is such a bro, for all his crankiness.

My blood mage Hawke was vitriolic best buds with Fenris.  She went after everyone trying to re-enslave Fenris with a murderous fury.
