Ok so I replayed arrival and found out that the reaper beacon emits an EMT pulse it knocks out shields and fries computers! So here my question on this say in ME3 we run into more reaper made beacons would anyone want to fight them first in order to use them? Sure it's a little weird sounding but think of it as it's own AI you disable the parts that shoot at you then shep has to be quick and use it before it wants to explode.

Now prothean and other races beacons are ok they're standard walk up and use interfaces only reaper made would have the fire power.
