In short: I tried to install the DLC, it didnt work(something to do with the game's compatibility problems with Windows 7) so I deleted the DLC folder from the game's folder. And now each time I try to resume the game from my last save it says I need BDTS installd(which is, as I said, not possible).
So, how do I recover my game? Ideas?

Always back up everything! also where did you get your game from? is it a retail copy or is it downloaded from the EA download manger or gamestop online store? have you tried backing up everything then uninstall then reinstall?

Never mind. I redownloaded the DLC's setup program and this time it installed properly. So the game works, yeah.
