Exactly what I said. If you destroy the anvil, the Orzammar epilogue slides refer to the dwarves recovering it and making golems, anyway. Or something along those lines, at least.HSHAW wrote...

Er, no, there is no retconning. If you destroy the Anvil they will try to recreate it, but the resulting golem will go insane, kill most of the dwarves involved in the project, and further attempts will be abandoned. If you don't destroy the Anvil and hand it to Harrowmont, he will try to shut it down immediately (and fail) instead of using it to reclaim the Deep Roads, while handing it to Bhelen will allow it to be used for several years to reclaim parts of the Deep Roads before a schism between Bhelen and Branka puts a stop to their alliance.Ulicus wrote...
