Judge: Do you remember what you did to the rachni?

Shepard: Rachni?

Judge: You know those beasts that tried to kill everyone, yadayada.

Shepard: Eeew, sounds horrible. *Chooses renegade option* Yep, I killed them. I made the right choice

Shepard: *Chooses paragon option* Yes, I let them go, so while we're d1cking about pointing fingers, they're building battleships to stop Reapers

Judge: Ah yes, "Reapers", the race of sentient machines trapped in dark space, ah, we have dismissed that....*SPLAT gets squashed by Harby*

Harbinger: I KNOW YOU FELT THAT, JUDGE

I'm getting more and more stoked for this game with each passing day. Alas, there will be many more days of waiting before I can finally sit down and see everything finally come together, in an ending installment which I believe will be remembered for years.

Rewarding both sides of the decisions. I like that, considering most of mine were Renegade.

Thanks for the link.

I've really been enjoying these Casey Hudson interviews. He seems like a genuine, down to earth guy who loves video games and science fiction.

Probably why the Mass Effect games are so great! He's a great project leader!

So the trial is both a recap of the first two games and a device that lets you make decisions in case you skipped those. I hope it uses flashbacks with in-game graphics instead of just being dialogue or a comic book. I'm against the pure dialogue approach because it will be too long if they wish to include all relevant decisions, and I'm against the comic book idea because the one in the PS3 version sucked so hard.

This at least confirms both Liara and Ashley/Kaidan are guaranteed to be plot essential. ^_^

Sounds like the trial is going to cover more than just the events of Arrival! :wizard:

... I don't think he had a permit to mine on all of the planets he probed.

Good lord.  My Shephard has over 9,000 counts of permitless probing.
Good thing the Reapers show up to spring me out of that one.

Duel wielding Garrus doesn't suck hard.  Duel wielding Garrus is the opposite of sucking hard.

ahh, can I just say, I think Casey Hudson is a swell, stand-up guy. I mean, he's got his head screwed on right: he's got tangible interest in the game and its universe, but he's so together (and astute on camera) that you can see exactly why he's in charge. hopefully ME3 is going to be incredible (WHY did I kill Kaiden, he was the best character ergh)

Not a lot of info but for this game I think it's better the less we know about the main story the better, just little tidbits of information until it's released will suit me fine and these interviews are perfect for that and it keeps building the anticipation until the release which is awesome keep it up Bioware. ;) :o

Mr Hudson looks tired. The guys must be busy over there.

I so wish that his words become true and that all the years talking about the decisions and the ME universe on the forums were not wasted. :P

I am getting excited again about this game...

BTW: Is the Normandy large enough to house a reaper? If so then I want one in the team. B)

To be honest, his demeanour reminds me of the attitude the crew seemed to display on the Lord of the Rings special features... like they were absolutely knackered, but proud of what they'd accomplished.

I'm just glad I opted to rescue Ash back in my ME1 playthrough that I'm taking through ME2 right now for export. It's going to be quite the saga. :D

Nothing that hasn't been said already. He mentions the trial at the start and briefly how the story grows outwards from that, but nothing specific or spoilerific.

I never romanced Ashley (I think), but my Shepard in the thirteenth ME1 save (not finished yet) is male and it looks like he's the lucky one.

The problem with all these Shepards is that you have to do some complicated bookkeeping to figure out who did what and why. :P
