Captain Price is in ME3?
sort of. Actually, it's Captain Price's descendant Nigel Fishnchips. I hope he's not just some sort of random teaser trailer character.

Its amazing (and hilarious) how this character, who doesn't even have an official name has gathered so many fans (including myself).
Long Live Nigel Fishnchips.
Bioware has nobody but themselves to blame for this. What were they thinking making such an awesome character and then not telling us if he'd even bein the game? Bastards I tell ya...

My Lord, it is all clear now! With the 6th clue, no one can deny the obvious fact that Big Ben shall be a squad-mate in ME3!

I wonder what people from the UK think about the name Nigel Fishnchips for the Big Ben Sniper. They must be thinking, "Nigel Fishnchips? A made up name that only an American person could think of for a British person."
Yeah, pretty much that! Not that I'm implying all Americans are uncreative of course!
I quite like the fish and chips part myself, not too keen on Nigel though, never liked that name!

But it's a name that's instantly associated with British... anything. "Nigel" sounds like someone who would own a tweed coat, a handlebar moustache and drive an MG (Assuming it was running, of course). All three being stereotypically british.
I imagine him being a royal guard. Keeps his sniper rifle stashed in that massive hat.

Of course not. We just feel that the name Nigel and fish and chips is the quintessential part of British culture. It's a stereoptypical perception of British culture as perceived by Americans at a glance.

Big Ben strikes me as being more of a Dennis! Ummmmm, yeah, he deifnately looks like a Dennis to me! Although I have to admit Dennis "FishnChips" doesn't quite have the same ring to it.
@ Blze001 - I can totally see him as a Beefeater now, I am most amused!

Have we actually decided who did the voice in the trailer? 'Cos I finally got my backside in gear to play Dragon Age 2, and I'm firmly convinced Nigel Fishnchips was voiced by Hawke himself, Nicholas Boulton, in that trailer...
That would be kinda cool actually!
But I doubt it's him.

Big Ben Sniper
Fact:
- English
- an Alliance marine
- in his first appearance (ME3 debut trailer), his weapon of choice is a sniper rifle (M-29)
- snipes a husk, which was in pursuit of several civilians, from inside the Westminster Clock Tower
Personal Opinion:
- Soldier class
- CGI facial model resembles Sam Worthington
- VA sounds like Sam Worthington
- has what look to me like neck tattoos
James Vega
Fact:
- an Alliance marine
- Soldier class
- in his first appearance (Fall of Earth trailer), his weapon of choice is a sniper rifle (the M-98)
- snipes a husk, which was in pursuit of Shepard and Anderson, from inside what appears to be an airbourne Kodiak Drop Shuttle
- has visible neck tattoos
My Personal Opinion:
- English (if he is indeed the ME3 debut/FoE trailer narrator)
- Vega's concept (?) art resembles Sam Worthington
- voiced by Sam Worthington (assuming the trailer narrator and Vega are the same person)
I can understand the two having a few things in common and still be separate individuals, but the kinds of things I'm finding just don't click with me as "mere coincidence." Just my opinion, though. Hopefully we'll find out the truth soon, perhaps in FemShep's trailer? That would be cool.

We already found out the truth. A couple months ago. Plus the Vega comic supports the fact that they are two separate people. Read below.
Celestina wrote...
Now you skeptics should know without a doubt Vega and Nigel are two different people from the new comic released. If Vega escorts Shepard to Earth, how can he be in London while Shepard is looking out from a ship? And if it is after the hearing, (Shepards not restrained by cuffs or otherwise in trailer), why would the narrator say " If Shepard doesn't get here soon...' of s/he had already been there?
