Okay, BioWare, here's an actual, possible way to include this guy in the game. Just a throwaway line (text or audio) that refers to Sgt. Nigel "Fish and Chips" Tomlinson being reported MIA in London.

Bam. The joke gets in without ruining the atmosphere.

just a surgguestion his real  name could benSgt. Nigel Fisher hence fishandchips we brits do go in for that sorta thing as evet one knows lol  but i have say that in the army it would be be shorted to chips as nicksname that you might use usely are snappy in every day use and all his mate would know that chips fisher's full nick name is fish and chips but would olny use it to confuse outsiders lol

Anyways, I support this guy as well! Especially his voice omfg, reminds me of this one guy in Modern Warfare, dunno if it's Soap or the friend/sarge he follows, but anyways. YEAH

How often I wished, I could airlock James Vega and recruit Big Ben instead. Why do we even need a muscular human on our team, if we just could get ourselves a krogan?

Yup. All I see him doing is replacing Jacob. An Alliance soldier, but with even more muscles than him.

Not judging him yet though. But it's gonna nedd a lot of convincing from him to gain my trust

I'm still kind of hoping that the Big Ben sniper turns out to be James Vega, even though it was debunked on these forums. I just really, really want to see Nigel Fishnchips in the ME3 party!

Anyway, today we saw an Alliance soldier with a sniper rifle. Big Ben? James Vega? IDK.

I just realized that the guy in the original ME3 trailer, the sniper, might actually be Vega! Look at the ME3 CE alternate costumes for that unknown human male character. Same hair cut! Same armor! Same body build!

There are currently a fan thread for both of them right now. Think about how it would end up if they actually were the same person:D
