Just what does supplying your troops do and how does it help in the long run? Will you know when you have given enough?

It doesn't do anything story-wise. You can trade items for XP, smple as that. It's really easy to get to lvl 25 this way, because elfroot is really cheap.

Ah I see, thanks I thought it effected my army's success in the end game also the cap's 25 not level 20? Sweet.

There is no cap, only problem is the lack of sources for exp grinding.

You'd probably cap out your defenses and such though, gear only goes so high but I'm sure by then yer quite the tactician so that might be trivial.

So if you really wanted to power level you'd have to pray for a lot of random encounters but this helps a lot. it would be funny to see someone get to like 50.

TucoBenedicto is wrong. The level cap is 25.

Yes the cap is 25. I've read posts where people are adding XP to their toon and can't get higher than 25.
