It's a wonder of this world that talent/effort does not always translate into monetary gain.

Nah, not really, they released a few spiffy new models. It is rather interesting though, they release item packs rather than actual content... I am really starting to believe that a toolset update is not on their to-do list.iOnlySignIn wrote...
Aaaah. You know your work put the recent Item Pack DLC to complete shame, don't you?

Unfortunately i've suspected this all along
Had a bad feeling about DA2 that they didn't want to give us a toolset in a hurry (If at all)

Do I think BioWare/EA significantly undervalues their modding community's ability to increase replay value, improve conversion on DLC content, and improve customer loyalty? You better freaking believe it.

Do I think we'll see a toolset? Yes. Eventually.

You're talking about a release specifically targeting long tail sales/customer loyalty on the platform that sold the least number of copies (a little over 200,000).
Look at the delay in releasing the 1.02 PC patch, while waiting for the console patch certification. A PC specific release like a toolset is counter intuitive to their goals for DA2. The window for it to have had any significant effect on PC sales is long passed.
The sheer amount of reused content in DA2 does nothing to suggest interest in it as a title with long lasting appeal. They did not set out to make a long lasting opus the likes of NWN or DAO, this time. Its a bite sized adventure in Thedas to play and move on.

Unfortunately I agree

The PC patch wasn't delayed for the consoles. It was released as soon as it was done and certified.

Sunnie this does appear in the middle of an act. I installed it and started a game in the middle of Act 2 and the items are there in Lirene's store. Great work, I love Bethany's Warden Robe of Unblemished Cleanliness.
It may be that if you install this mod before you see Lirene for the first time, or more specific, enter the Fereldan Imports shop area, you will see the new items. If you had already been in there, the merchant data woould already be cooked to your save game and you wouldn't see it..
