I think that most of the Batarian fleet is fairly old, much like the Quarian fleet, but it is still pretty strong masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Batarian#Military. And after Arrival I doutb they're going to want to help save Humanity from the Reapers.

And I like the idea that Cerberus is kinda running the Alliance from the shadows. They could use the rest of the galaxy's species as pawns, or as cannon fodder, revealing their agenda after the Reapers are defeated. I'm more of a paragon thought, so I'm going to have to wait to do a play through of one of my non-canon Shepards to see if thats possible. It'd be pretty cool if it is.

Seems they play out similar to the Geth, isolationist with their real capabilities being hidden from other races. Eh I doubt they'll have much love for anybody after having 300,000 people nuked out of existance. I mean, just from a government perspective, they'd be faving a civillian revolution if they did nothing about it. The common mob is anything but reasonable and will be out for blood.

Same, I traditionally play Paragon. I'm just that type of person even in fantasy where there's no reprucussions. But I usually like to see how the other side plays out via Videos players put together and the like. And If they are going to make you choose between Cerberus/Alliance, I'd like to see it played out like that.

Though there's also the possibility of deposing TIM, similar to LoTSB, and replacing it with someone more...friendly. Due to his illusive nature (Pun!) it wouldn't be unthinkable that some of the Cerberus cells hardly know anything about him.

So there's a lot of potential ways to play with the scenario.

In games like Fable I play as evil as I can because it seems ot fit the game. For Mass Effect I wanted to be more true to what I would really do if I was there. I made a renegade femshep to see how different it was, because I didn't think just watching videos of it do it justice and I kinda felt I was missing out on parts of the game.

I'm hoping there is a choice between Cerberus and the Alliance. Partly as that would make things more interesting for renagede players, and partly as it would give TIM reason to chase my Shepard, adding another problem into the mix. And it'd be cool if we could replace him, gaining access to his information network which, combined with Liara as the SB, means that Shepard would have access to pretty much all information. I could replace him with Miranda, as in my canon she resigned and is loyal to Shepard, so would hopefully use the information for the right reasons.

Incidently, I could put the Shadow Broker as a faction but I think you have her support regardless so it'd probably be redundant.

Fable rewards evilness in most cases. I think the only reason I got through fable III being relatively good, was I poured every cent I made into the treasury to make up for all the good king decisions. Even then it seemed to punish you as much as possible for being good.

Yeah Miranda would likely be top canditate to replace TIM. If she was his number 2, it's probable she's worked with some of the other cells previously, and it wouldn't be difficult to gain their trust even if they do know TIM (which is doubtful considering how he works).

Shadow Broker wasn't even a choice. So by default Liara would not be SB in ME3, and guarentee's help there. And there's nobody I can think of except the terminus systems that might have a problem with having the SB on your side.

For Fable III I just did all the 'evil' ones to save the population. Kinda stupid that you can;t explain why you're doing it as 'saving everyone from certain doom' seems like a trump card to digging up a nice lake.

And yeah, most of the cells probably know Miranda and would likely follow her. And for that last bit, did you mean that Liara would be SB by default in ME3 :?? There's no choice so I'm asusming she has to be, even though she's a squadmate in ME3 for at least some of the game. Also, I'm sure you could just 'forget' to mention to the Terminus Systems that you're working with the SB, much like Cerberus 'forgetting' to mention their main agenda tot he galaxy.

I don't really support the alliance anymore, nor Cerberus - but Shepard is still "fighting for humanity".

I support the Geth because the Quarians are the ones enforcing war based on childhood monstertales of the Geth, they have not even tried to broker a peace.

I support the Salarians because the genophage is necessary, the krogan are extremely warlike and they cannot rest when there is peace - after the reapers are gone they will start conquering again if they have the numbers.

I support the Rachni because unlike the Krogan, they actually want peace and last they were forced into war by indoctrination. No species is immune to indoctrination by any means so that is not motivation enough to kill them all.

The Turians obviously have a massive fleet that we need and the Asari are very important to diplomatic stability.

The Terminus system is necessary so I would support Aria, she's the only one that can actually unite the mercenary factions.

This is so not like Dragon Age:Origins, choosing between werewolves and elves or quarians or geth.......

Geth - tell the quarians to back off and find another world.Seriously, the Quarians a too biased - first they try to exterminate geth based on "synthetics don't need us, that's why they'll try to get rid of us"(exactly quarian's logic, not geth). Then, after they get deserved retalition, they use it to justify their own aggresion. This could've been handled way better, when the geth just started to realize themselves.

Krogans - because I like Wrex. Promise him that after all Reaper's bs end will personally help to find and kill off Rachni queens(if he still would feel like it).

Council - because I would like to see their ground forces mix(STG, asari commandos, turian soldiers) and their mixed fleet(particularly interested in Salarian ships)

Cerberus --- if not then Alliance
Quarians --- if i can't resolve differences with Geth (i don't think Legion lied when he said they are care takers for the Quarian home world)
Krogans --- not sure why i couldn't just talk to queen and ask/tell her we'll work this out after the Reapers are dead.

I'll weaken all other races as much as possible to ensure human survival after Reaper threat is gone.

Eh the fable system was easy to exploit via the Renting system. Buy enough property and you can pretty much make as much money as you need.

Yes I did mean she was by default. I shouldn't type when tired. It's amazing how fast people "forget" their agenda in Mass Effect isn't it? Ah politics at their finest.

It'll be an interesting game at the very least.

Which ever one hasn't been hit by the idiotic stick is the one I'm backing. As far as Cerberus goes, I plan on destroying everything of theirs that I can culminating in me kicking TIMs teeth in.

I want to destroy everything related to the alliance and I want Hackett and Anderson both dead .

You've stated that, over, over and over to make that abundantly clear.

The Alliance, i'm a soldier not some incompetant diplomat.
