I started up DAII today, only to be met with some strange graphical glitch going on with my party's portraits. Things had turned... odd. And bright blue/cyan.
I can offer a screenshot from my Steam library, hope it works. I tried to take a screenshot with the PrntScrn key, but
for some reason all that seems to capture is a black expanse.

Sure I could continue playing with this, but it is rather invasive, making it hard to follow their health status, plus just plain looks ugly.
I had done nothing new to the game between last play and seeing this. A quick google suggested it was an error in the patch installation which is impossible, as I am still runing v1.00 (had the old 'We're sorry. An error has occured' permissions fail message running the game, so I play it through an .exe I'd copied from a friend. When I tried to patch it, I got the error again and was unable to play and putting the copied .exe in place again reset it to v1.00. Even with all that fiddling, the game was running fine)

Any advice people can offer would be fantastic, as it is really rather intrusive on my gameplay. And was hoping to have a night devoted to DAII =(

Same issues. Reinstalled game and patches and still same thing with portaits and health bars. In addition, when you go in inventory the characters are ethereal.

All these happened as soon as I installed the new EA Download Manager.

I haven't installed any Download Manager =/ Like I said, only new thing I'd added to the game files was a mod, which on starting up and seeing the issues I removed... only for it not to make any difference.
Really want to get this sorted. Played with it last night, but my characters kept dying 'cause I just couldn't translate all the glitch going on there in to what was actually their health bar.

I have the same issue. Only thing I've done recently is 1.02 patch. No other changes/mods/DLC

Game crashed and I noticed it said "version 1.01" is no longer responding.... I patched again to 1.02 and it fixed the issue with the portraits and health/mana/stamina not appearing correctly.

I ended up getting a friend to send me a copy of the v1.02 .exe he runs through =/ Updated it from the Bioware Social pages, then replace the .exe with his, and all fixed.
Is infuriating that I have to resort to these fiddly fixes and things when I own a totally legitimate copy of the game that just will not work because of the stupid permissions errors.

Ive just got this blue bar glitch, I have no way of getting hold of the Da2 patch, any fixes as this makes playing on harder difficulty almost impossible as i cant see health bars ><

If you can post here, why can't you go to : social.bioware.com/page/da2-patches,
and get the latest patch?
