Very bold statement Mr Epler since most of the BioWare-created armors and weapons clip like crazy...
One example being Fadeshear and Lion of Orlais used together. When sheathed, the sword sticks through the shield. Nice. Can't even use the Bulwark shield as that just clips right into the character's armor. These are but 2 examples of many!

yep
in fairness tho, the pauldrons on the OP's armor looks like they'd clip all the way through the character's head when they raise their arms

Mr. Epler, since you're reading this thread, I have a question for you. All I need to be content is either a "yes" or a "no". Will there be story DLC in the future? I just want to know if there will be. Details aren't important right now.
I can answer that: yes, there will be. Story-based DLC takes longer, if we want to make it good (and we do).
As for the armor in the OP, it looks great. Bit big in the shoulders, mind you, and there's probably something the modelers would find issue with, but as a picture it looks awesome.

It seems like something that'd go really well with the "Lion of Orlais" shield. So yeah, pretty sure you'd find that on some Orlaisian, and it wouldn't even be very out of place thereAddai67 wrote...
Neither/ nor. Only the Orlesians would wear such a monstrosity.
(looks good, too. I actually like it uses Sebastian's armour as base -- this way, crazy as the appearance is, there's still some coherence with rest of the game settings)

So, yes.
And that armor should be worn by the captain of the handpicked royal guards of the Queen of Orlais.

The shoulder guards don't look much different in size to Loghain's, so they could make it work.

I must say, one thing i missed from DAO in DA2 was the lack of massive shoulder guards (or massive armor at all really).

Really? Cause, you know, the main game seems to indicate that you really couldn't care less about being good and are quite comfortable being lazy and just reuse resources shamelessly and put as little effort into things as possible.David Gaider wrote...

But the DLC is going to be quality eh? Right, princess, right.

really??are you serious?how are you in a position to criticise these people directly and accuse them of being lazy and all that stuf?you dont know under which conditions this atrocity(dragon age 2) came to be.you can only guess...being an ass to the developers (especially when they are so kind as to give us info on the next dlc) will earn you nothing
on topic: i like yours given its orlesian but i dont know how it would turn out in game

on the top of my head I can think of one scenario:
Orlesian nobility is sent to Kirkwall on a mission to buy... Wine and croissants
And there we have it! A DLC that gives you mission to locate something, and it fits the games story
Mind you that I came up with that in a minute so there is still some tweaking but the general idea is there

anyways it's not so much that the pauldrons are big, it's that they're so close to the armor, you see Loghain's massive armor and everything is spaced far apart for a reason, Loghain's armor also doesn't have pointy bits to clip into his head
regardless aesthetics that would make good royal guards or whatnot
