My LadyHawke looks like Bethany so those pics would be very weird indeed.Fieryeel wrote...

The only difference I've noticed is that I've become terribly uncomfortably playing a Lady Hawke thanks to all the creepy comments on these forums posted by male Lady Hawke players.
I really should post pics of FemHawke x Bethany romance pics to mess with your mind.
Differences between genders?

And pissing off all of Thedas, thus bringing about the ruination of the entire Dalish civilisation (only because the player is male) isn't?
People throw the word 'sexist' around too freely.
I tend to agree with you.

That's strange. He didn't have a problem fighting my female PC.Flamingdropbear wrote...
Only one I've noticed is the Arishok didn't want to fight a woman, but Fernis talked him into it.
He didn't have an issue fighting my female mage and rogue either. Must depend on dialogue choices vs. gender choice.

Which raises an interesting point, has anyone played a male character that didn't bother gaining the Arishok's respect or Isabela's friendship? If so, did the Arishok also refuse to duel that Hawke?Yakko77 wrote...

Of course, I recommend giving up Isabella at least once during your playthroughs.
Agreed. Hell, in my Mage playthrough I lost Isabela, Anders, and Fenris. (the letter you get after ditching Fenris is revealing and interesting)
Really, I encourage people do to the "things you'd never do" in at least one playthrough, to see how they turn out.

I did mean that, but I meant to say it without Spoilers. I'm sure some people would appreciate it if you'd modify your post to fix that.
Otherwise, I can see how some decisions can be difficult ... I had a really hard time with Isabela ... the idea of betraying a friend, or even a party member, didn't sit well with me. But, one shoud give everything a try at least once. (usually twice, in case the first time was a fluke)

Note that I don't consider romances as "a difference".
Was under the impression that out of their fear of having players have different plot lines that may never be seen by other players, Bioware tends not to make much in terms of differences between genders.
I never side with slavers, ever. Even in games. . .can't cross that line.

When Isabella hooked up with my female Hawke she offered to have some "girly fun". I would imagine that's not what she would offer a male Hawke.
Rumors of us dancing the Remigold in pretty dresses are completely unfounded.

Yes, only way to get as much depth and playtime is to do so.
It helps seeing every side and all the details that you may overlook for preference sake.

Yes for me I didn't get the option to duel, it just went to the big fight.Pandaman102 wrote...

That's really weird, two contradictory results. Either there's another flag that determines dueling or it's a bugged option.Nephi_1111 wrote...

Same, it show he respect you and want to taste your metals, if he doesn't respect you, then you fight with your group.
I never bring fenris, and i still duel him.
