I wanted to post this yesterday... I was playing the overlord DLC and all cutscenes were perfectly synced with the audio! But I said maybe its a coincidence and I should test the game some more before posting.

Well today I played the entire Lair of the Shadow Broker and Tali's mission and every single cutscene was perfectly synced again!! So I guess...its not a coincidence! Never before had I played LotB with the audio synced proeprly. And I've completed the game like 7 times...

So any1 else noticed this?

Took you long Bioware but it seems you finally did it! Thank you. :)

Now all we need is the patch.

I thought the last patch was only supposed to fix Genesis?  If it did fix the audio sync that's wonderful news, however.  I'll be ordering ME2 for the PS3, if that's the case, quite soon.

I hate to mess it up for you, but actually it doesn't fix the audio issues at all. Shadow broker was pefectly synched from the get go (at least for me it was). I have just started an ng+ and the first cutscene (mech ruining the quarians' day) is still awfully off.

I can confirm that it DOES NOT fix the Audio issues. Its still the same mess. After installing the patch I started a new game and it only took about 5 mins before I encountered out of sync. And it has not improved either. Still about 3 second delay which is really bad

Ah, darn. There goes wishful thinking in hoping Bioware had added a great fix bonus to the patch secretly. /end blind hope

No big surprise; Jesse said this patch was only to fix the Genesis issue. Still, would've been nice...

It's not fixed. If anything, it's even worse!

Humans can perceive games in only two mesureable mediums, visual and audio.

So, dear Bioware, when the sound in your game is COMPLETELY OUT OF SYNCH, WHEN IT'S NOT MISSING ENTIRELY, GARBAGE, you render approximately 50 percent of the experience ruined.

Kindly spend two seconds to at least fill us in on whether you plan to give a damn or not.
It would help us sleep better.

Well thats dissapointing...

Let me start by say sorry for bringing your hopes up... but I am still baffled as to why my game has been synced perfectly 3 straight sessions after I installed the patch. As I said never before had I experienced LotB with proper audio-visual synchronization. In the beggining I thought it was just a one-off thats why I didnt post anything. But after 3 straight sessions I believed that the patch adressed this issue.

So far I havent noticed any kind of audio lag since the latest patch. But of course I am one and you are many. So I believe it is afterall just a coincidence... again sorry for missinforming you, i really believed that it was fixed.

It is interesting though that it seems to be a pretty stupid bug/glitch/whatever, since other timew the audio is perfect and other times is just completely off.

Fix this Bioware... your game is about cutscenes and dialogues... how can you let this affect the immersion??? I was so glad these past few days (when I thought the problem was fixed) and I finally got to see properly synced audio in LotB! Like when Liara is fighting using biotics and the sound is correct...that is awesome...now when the sound is off (as was with my previous 6 playthroughs)something that looks awesome, sounds retarded...

Fix this for the millionth time...PLEASE!

At first glance it does apear as if most of teh dialogue problems have been fixed. Prior to the patch I did a run on the lazarus Station and Jacob wasn't saying certain sentences. After downlaoding the patch however he is now saying every sentence. There are still some sound sync issues like on Freedom Progress, the YMIR Mech was shooting machine gun fire and missiles during teh cut scen and yet you did not hear the sound affects untill well after the explosions. Characters still occasionally forget to say the final word in a sentence although it does feel as if Bioware has made some effort into trying to deal with the PS3 ME2's audio problems, there not there yet but it look slike someone is trying to do somthing about it. I need to play the game more thouroughly since I've only gotten past Freedoms Progress. I'm also thinking of booting up and old save on another charcter right before the SM since this is where I have experienced teh most audio issues with Shepard and EDI basically not saying anything at all.
