This something that's always bugged me about Jack's romance. Unlike the other LIs, Jack is a wanted criminal. I can't possibly see how a romance with Jack could have a happy ending since I would assume Jack would eventually have to pay for her crimes.

I actually would like a nice ending. I like Jack's character, I just didn't romance her. I hope we get to put down Cerberus together through.

But wanted by who? I realize that somebody was paying lots of $$$ to keep her locked up - Cerberus, maybe?

I just think that with all the baggage that gal is carrying around it can't end well.

No one said "High Maintenance" like Jack and after defeating the reapers, I am not sure that Shep will have any energy left to handle/help Jack. I guess it wold depend on your Shep ... none of mine could handle her long term.

Well after the reapers lay waste to everything I guess people won't really care about locking her up anymore. There is your silver lining to the reaper invasion.

Honestly, I really have to say that killing 300,000 civilians with no intrinsic military value trumps any of Jack's crimes.

Yeah it was done to save the galaxy, but then you get into doctrines of excusability, the practical imperative, and all sorts of ethical issues that could easily dissaude anyone.

Or, you know, death by gunshot works too.
