I think EA are gonna get Bioware to only focus on ME and, if it des well, that new Star Wars MMO.

Hopefully we get some more patches and expansion packs, but EA will probably stop support for this game and fire the guys who made it now.

Im so sick of this! Da 2 was good. It got good reviews. it made tons of money. Just cause it wasnt DAO 2 doesnt mean that it will tank, if ever.  Got it, your fanboyism isnt gonna make Bioware wann achange it back, & since your such a small part of the over all crowd that liked this game, they wont miss your money.

EDIT: EA may be shutting down companies but Bioware wont be one fo them. EA has already made boat loads of money with ME, so why would they shut down one of there most lucrative devisions?

All those things are true. IT is is good, if your not a DAO fanboy(LIKE YOU!), It did, At Metacritic, professional reviewers gave it an average of 8.2. The user reviews dont count cause it was tainted by DAO faboys giving it bad reviews. & it has made quite a bit of money. Millions of people have bought this game the wordwide, if that isnt good, than I dont know what is.

I don't think it did that bad in terms of profit, we never really know the actual numbers. Keep in mind it hooked a lot (if not all) of DAO players before the demo was released, and even then people were reserving judgement until they had the entire game. Disappointment for some players came after the game's release what may or may not have harmed sales of the game. On the other hand, DA2 could have hooked players from other market segments, what could make up for lost sales with ex-DAO players.

I think this will probably hurt sales for the first couple of weeks of an eventual DA3 release. After that, who knows? Still, nothing a strong marketing campaign can't fix (gameplay videos and such).

If you were at a confrence were the majority of speakers were anti semites, wouldnt it be safe to assume the the rest would be too?

Im not saying that DAO fanboys are at all related to Ani semites, Just that, when 90% of the threads you look at are made by distrought DAOfanboys, wouldnt you  assume the next one you will look at will have a high possabilty of having a DAO fanboy as its creator?

Thank you for being one of the few who didn't jump on the hatards' bandwagon. The game's sold more than one million copies altogether. You want to know the game that I wanted to succeed, yet it didn't have the numbers DA2 has? Godzilla: Unleashed (2007) for the Wii.

The last time I heard about that games' sales numbers, it was a measly 40,000 copies! The game was playable, but not too great. DA2 is far better than many games, and that's why the game has sold the number of copies it has!

Even if you are mostly right all the time it still doesn't excuse it. Keyword is mostly, if you can't achieve always 100% right you will come off as an arrogant ass, and even if you don't have any dignity, coming off as an ignorant ass will decrese your credibility by a large amount if not all of it, thus your position of dicussing on any topic will be weak and childish.

You can't make assuptions like that. Dragon Age 2 is heading towards a slippery slope. Its difficult to tell if it will rebound.
