Show me the Females

Female Salarians: Didn't need to be in before now, but will be needed in ME3, as we're visiting the Salarian homeworld. Again, get it done Bioware. They don't have to be sexy, they just have to be female.
Elcor/Hanar: Unneeded but might be nice.
Female Batarians: Should have been in ME2, honestly. The Batarian male body is basically a human model, so take a female model and make a new face for females. This isn't necessarily important, but really, with how easy of an addition it is, I'll be slightly disappointed if they aren't in there.
Female Drell: Another nice addition, definitely would put a lot of fan debate to rest, but not expecting it. They're uncommon enough as is.

Simply shoe-horning them in because the fans have asked for it isn't the best course of action. Yes, the worst possible scenario is that they leave out female aliens entirely, but suddenly having something like half of the aliens in Mass Effect 3 be female is not much better.

Here's another female Turian:

But those look like males!!!
Exactly. <_<
Is it really that hard to understand that you don't need humanly stereotypical features to make female aliens? Aren't the turians inspired on eagles? Eagles are impossible to tell. They all look the same to us. As do most animal species.

You do get to see a female krogan in ME2. Not much different from the males. I'd imagine it's mostly the same with the other races.
You sure? I thought there was an ambassador, one you can talk to, but there's one that you can't that has a much... quieter, raspier voice than krogan are known to have, that tells you that you're "forbidden to interact with a female" or something like that.
EDIT: Huh... where do you hear that they're a pre-pubescent male?
The other ambassador is for a different clan.

Honestly I would be fine with that. It's a rather boring approach to take but other than that it fine. It makes sense. Just so long as they acknowledgeand and have you talk to some who are female. The ones from the comic are also fine if somewhat boring.

With some birds its obvious. Differences between male and female with most eagles and other birds of prey are not huge and most can't see them unless they have somthing to compare and know what to look for. With bald eagles the females are bigger; have longer talons and a slightly different shaped beak I think.Nashiktal wrote...
Actually if Turians really are modeled after birds, they very well would look different.

Right now, all talking aliens in Mass Effect are simply humans in costumes. They share our features regarding gender differences. But having turian women with the same figure and voice as men (after all, female bald eagles have the same figure and voice as the males, hence realistic) would change that, hence original.
As for cool, all turians are cool.
But maybe it would upset some people, too, as they would see the fact of not putting boobs and lipstick on them as an extremely offensive attack from raging man-hating, hairy lipped, fugly, fat, angry feminist extremists. So it won't be done.

I actually don't think people necessary want to see boobs and lipstick on a female turian, but more variation. People generally want to see new and interesting things.(refrence: viral videos)

I'm kind of disappointed at the lack of balls from Bioware side.

Bald eagle females are bigger and have a lower cry than the males. Am I the only one who thinks it would be hilarious if they transfer that to female turians? You talk to a particularly large and gruff sounding Turian thinking it’s a male and then realise that it is actually female?Nyoka wrote...

In my mind the salarian females are huge and brutal looking just because they would be so different from the males.
And a female turian LI would be great!
