For me I pretty much agree with you on the suicide mission and the squad in general feeling disconnected until that happens which will probably be addressed in ME3.

I know this is asking a serious amount of bioware but I do hope that every single character makes full squad member or close to full for all characters (except morinth i can understand her not having much of a role and the same can be said for kasumi and Zaeed) but the normal squad members from ME1 and ME2 I do hope for

The dialog during the Suicide Mission when you have Zaeed leading the first team also makes it clear that they are making excellent progress. It seems originally he was meant to be a good choice to lead the first team.

He gets a variant of the same dialogue any other non-successful leader does. His actual success dialogue for that part, which does exist, never plays.

Dare i ask?

Imagine nearly a hundred threads devoted to ManGiraffeDog, with a new one popping up every few minutes for, geez, five hours?

MGD has basically become the BSN equivalent of herpes: long symptom-free periods punctuated by brief, highly active phases, and only able to be managed, not cured.

I do love the Suicide Mission and I still get psyched when Jack Wall's score starts up and I'm pumped and I always pick the renegade speech. It is still nerve wracking when the fire team leader does get shot as well. But the suicide mission worked because everything comes together, the music, the atmosphere, the sense of risk. I still remember the first time I played it I was seriously crapping myself wondering if I missed something important or forget to upgrade something etc.
