I'm playing around with some custom ability concepts (Specifically testing a change to Two Weapon Sweep to see if I can get its AoE Template to show. My guess was to kill the autotarget), however I'm not sure on a few things...
1) Where should the .m2da be placed? I'm guessing, since this would be part of a module, in the module's override.
2) What exactly is needed for an ABI_Base m2da to be recognized? Does it need every sheet, or only the first? Etc.

Currently, I have the first sheet only, single data row, called "ABI_twohandedsweep_fix.xls", which I Process to "ABI_twohandedsweep_fix.GDA" and place in my modules override. This does not seem to be working.

Thanks

When I did this made a ABI_.m2da I left all the other sheets intact.
and my sheets defiantly load when i use the tool set and the base game. so i would suggest you try all the sheets.

I placed my generated .GDA files in
My Documents\\\\Bioware\\\\Dragon age\\\\addins\\\\modulename\\\\core\\\\override

I place my ABI_ for the toolset in "C:\\main-install\\packages\\core\\override" This allows the toolset to see it i believe. It might also work in the documents path of folders. i have never had it work in the addins override section. Only the first worksheet in ABI_base is need for an M2DA. I've been meaning to write a short tutorial about it because i only figured it all out the other day.

Well, that shows me why I shouldn't mod so late at night. I was meaning to edit Dual-weapon Sweep. I needed only one sheet and to place it in an addin modules override.

Thanks for the responses, though.
