Hi, I'm hoping someone can help here.  I've tried searching the forums but there doesn't seem to be much similar. Other people are crashing to desktop, and/or getting error messages. 

Pretty basically, as soon as I press the play button, it will display the hourglass, then go to the arrowhead pointer, will sometimes display some of the sword slashing to make the blood dragon, but won't get past that before the screen goes completely white and the computer becomes completely non-responsive, and I'm forced to do a hard reboot.

My specs:

Toshiba P100, T2400 @1.83GHz
3GB RAM
GeForce Go 7900GS.

The config utility is happy that I'm good to go. My DirectX is up to date from the DA:O DVD, my display drivers are up to date. I've tried: disabling anti-virus, disabling video codecs, allowing firewall exception, disabling all sound. There is nothing in the event log when the error occurs.

Any suggestions?
