"Something went wrong with you installation, please reinstall."
All of this after I have signed in to activate the goddamn game.
AND, YES, I AM TYPING IN THE EXACT USER NAME AND PASSWORD EACH AND EVERY TIME. It's the same username and password that I have beeen using for well over a year now: It never changes.
All of this is precisley why will never again purchase a downloadable game. It's either a hard copy or nothing.

First, this forum is for users like you to help others who encounter technical problems. If you want to talk to EA/Bioware directly about your issue, go to support.ea.com and click on "Contact Us".
As to your specific issue, the most common cause is a problem with the daupdater service that runs in the background and deals with DLC authorization. There are *several* posts covering this issue on this forum... most of them are pinned to the top of the thread list. You may want to consult this thread: http://social.biowar...58/index/759141
... or the Solutions Round-up linked below in my sig.
If you have further questions after consulting those threads, or after you contact EA support directly, feel free to reply in this thread.

I don't know what the deal is, but I suspect that both Bioware and EA are up to no good: trying to cheat the consumer out of what they have already paid for. I would like someone from Bioware to prove me wrong? But, I am certain that will never happen. I suspect that they are trying to get the consumer to re-purchase the DLC's, so they can continue to receive revenue. It isn't enough to purchase them once.
We will just have to see what this next downloaded version will allow or disallow. As you can readily tell, I have lost every bit of both confidence and respect for Bioware as a company.

I tried to reinstall the digital version of DAO Ultimate and it didn't install much of anything. There was no Dragon Age file in the Programs file, only in a EA file: and, the my documents folder. So, I uninstalled it and now I am installing the Digital Deluxe Edition, both via EADM, I might add.
Do you have the 32 or 64 bit version of Windows 7?

This is disappointing to read, especially since we tried to troubleshoot your issues over PMs.

Did you ever go to official EA support at support.ea.com like I suggested?

Seems to me you're having problems with the EA download manager. Try this forum on EA's main website:

I have the 32bit Windows 7 Home Premium. The last time I tried contacting EA Tech support about a different game, it took 6 weeks to get a response. They are very unreliable at best. I wouldn't give you two cents for EA tech support.
THe digital deluxe version is still downloading. I will let you what happens here.

Well, gosh, just as I figured! All of my purchased DLC's are still unauthorized even with the Digital Deluxe version, that I had also paid for.
There is really something fishy going on here. I am thoroughly convined that either Bioware or EA is up to no good. I have been troublesshooting this crap for about 12 hours now: and I am back to square one. I bet if I re-purchased everyone of the DLC's they would work.
I am so angry about this I could spit nails! Perhaps I should really contact the Oregon State Attorney General, and file an Internet fraud complaint. I am not goiung to go any. I will fight this. No matter what it takes. This is BS.

If you go and look at the "Installed Content" every one of them say unauthorized. If you look at "Available Content" they are all there ready for you to get frustrated and re-purchase them. That's exactly what they want everyone to do.

For the last time, Bioware does not do tech support in this forum. You have to go to support.ea.com for that.
Now, as I told you in our personal message conversation earlier today:
Okay. I just confirmed that the server is indeed working, so it has to
be something else. Let me suggest this-- reboot your PC, launch Dragon
Age, and go to the main screen (with the sword sticking in the ground).
Then alt-Tab to the desktop, do a CTRL-ALT-DEL and launch "task
manager". Go to the process tab on the task manager. Let's first
confirm that the program "daupdatersvc.service.exe" is running under
user name "SYSTEM".
Can you confirm this?

I did as you asked and the only thing I saw was daorigins.exe
Now, the EADM can't find my games. One problem after another.

Okay. I STRONGLY suggest that once you get all your DLC authorized, log out and STAY logged out. Also, you should not have to launch the EADM again to start the game, so you can disable EADM's "Load at Windows Startup" function.
Happy gaming.
