I'm not an elitist, but... doesn't saying I'm not one make me one? Things are complicated.

Those loading screens werent taking long at all.Mesina2 wrote...
So you prefer elevators over loading screens even if they are both tedious and boring? What?!
Also there are loading screens in ME1 too.
Why is it infamous?MajesticJazz wrote...
- Will Bioware bring back the infamous "Mission Complete" screen from ME2

One thing I appreciated the "Mission complete" screen from ME2 is that they gave a very small insight about how TIM precieved the events of what just happend.

It's important to you.
Some of us could not care less either way. As for Immersion breaking, Garrus throwing a water filled condom during a mission brief while quoting shakespear would be 'immersion breaking'...
Get over yourself.

It wasn't just the "mission complete" screens that I found annoying- it was the loading screens too. It was somewhat intrusive, immersion breaking, and didn't really help curb the linear feel of ME2 since they cropped up during every single zone change.
Granted, the elevators and airlocks in ME1 could be dull (more party banter anyone?), but I'd take them over a loading screen any day.

Well for the most part, people DONT want to be reminded that they're playing a videogame. Ever heard of the suspension of disbelief?

They can get rid of the screen but they should keep that catchy jingle sound.

Don't bring the RPG argument here please.Haristo wrote...
It simply doesn't feel like an RPG, it looks like the game has some Semi-Open areas where you can do a Mission Select, and when you play those levels, it just feel like a boring FPS Debriefing.
I want ME3 to be Open Worlded just like Mass Effect 1, and I don't want to see those Mission Complete Screen, everything in those debriefind can be told by usual conversations.

One thing is very good about the mission complete screen though. You can look at it briefly and and tell right away if you got all the upgrades or not.
