I listened to it all and I must say...

I don't belive this whole thing to be ligit. They eighter picked the most retarded questions you can think of or simply wrote them acording to BioWare / EA guides. Seriously... will there be other types of husks? What if Shepard dies? Will there be more skills? Are weapons class restricted?

Thank you.
THis is exactly what I was thinking as they were asking these questions...

And its also the last update to the HUB thing too

The reaper-repurposed klixen was pretty interesting to hear about (I think that's the creature they were referring to) The rest, pretty much old news

So it is confirmed that we start at level 30 with all our skills back and intact and further develop them. Cool to see our speculation about that come true.

It's not confirmed. They say that if you import an ME2 save your skills and level will not be completely reset. That doesn't mean that you'd start off at exactly level 30 with the same points allocation.

No new info really, I want my 40 minutes back. :(

what is the music from the beginning?

It's called "Spectre Induction" and it's on the ME1 OST.

We get to start at level 30 if we reached it in ME2?

Squee.

Edit:  Nvm.  At least we won't be completely reset.

I will say this if ME 3 features only the ME 1 crew in the squad only then. They have some explaining to do and it better not be because the ME 2 squad can all die in 2

Drink up every time the guy says "like".

I got intoxicated after 20 sec.

Also, mistaking rachni for klixen = f***ing fail.

Well maybe if they picked more questions they could actually answer based on their current knowledge instead of probably the most popular questions, the information value of the podcast might have been (even) higher.

But still great job.  That "grabbing opponents from cover" makes me curious.

yeah, i mean its painfully obvious they've seen things that they can't talk about due to nondiscloser agreements.

Man, these gaminformer guys are reaaaaaally annoying to listen to. If it wasn't ME3 related, I would have turned off the podcast after about 2 minutes.

yeah, that was kind of a weak way to end the string of me3 stories

I did think the podcast was a little short on juicy details, mostly due to the questions asking stuff that they couldn't answer.

That said, I liked the whole mention of how the guns were upgraded. Granted, Casey had already mentioned this but it was interesting to hear that the overall model of the gun will depend on it's mods etc.

Do we know those Husk-bugs were actually Rachni in the first place? Considering how Rachni work (and how the Rachni War actually started) it seems a bit weird they'd bother making them into husks. Once they have the queen the Warrior and Worker bugs become slaves anyway.

Relax, honey, it's still April.  They aren't going to spoil the whole game for you just yet.

Some of the gameplay stuff sounded cool. Tweaking of the weapons/powers elements seemed fun.

I didn't like their answer to returning characters. Suggesting on one hand they suggest that they won't want to invest time in characters who might be dead while at the same time they claim you're going to get fulfilling conclusion of those character stories you want to see seems incompatible to me.

Weak. I liked their descriptions of the enhanced cover mechanic and the details regarding weapon customization, but everything else was pretty meh.

Questions I wanted to have answered:

-Did you hear any music samples from ME3, and if so, how did it compare to what we've heard across the first two games?
- Squad armor; how will equipping our squad work in ME3? Will they have casual and combat outfits?
- Will armor customization remain the same as in ME2?
- How is Bioware expanding the scope of the environments in ME2?
- Will combat still revolve around cover the cover system, or will it be more freeform (also, do you know if Bioware plans to bring back the 'crouching' mechanic?).

I bet its a safe bet to assume that at least your LIs in ME2 would be permanent squadmates.
Why would they give you that decision with just a small role?
again... all LIs in Mass Effect 2 will likely be playable from the get go. Even if you did not romance them I bet. Those Characters like Garrus, Jacob, Thane, Tali, Miranda and Jack will likely be perm squadmates
That puts it at like at least (if they survived), Ash/Kaiden Liara and Sanders.
Thats 9 potential permanent squadmates. Who knows what they will do
Hopefully it works like thatImage IPB
