Hello,

I am having this FRUSTRATING problem that i cant find ANYWHERE on the net.
I dont have the statue problem and i enabled the Shale DLC.

When i get to Shale's nightmare, there is NO fallen statue and there is NO SHALE, (there is a statue but it hasnt fallen) just an empty map, i did Wynn and Morigan's Nightmare and now i got to Shale's nightmare.

 I re installed and im using patch 1.04. Is there a way around it? Can i get out and re enter the fade with another party member witouth re doing the game?

I hate this bug so bad.

I haven't played the Tower of Magi with Shale, so I've not encountered that map. Sorry you're frustrated. Some questions to help with troubleshooting:

1) when you stay "the statue problem", are you referring to this issue? - http://social.biowar.../index/114894/1

2) I can't see which version of DAO you have... is it the original or Ultimate Edition?

3) It looks like Shale is in the far corner of the map according to this YouTube vid (about 11:55 in). Can you confirm Shale's not there? 

4) Did you have any mods installed?

Hope that's a start, at least.

1: Yes that statue problem

2: Original version updated to 1.04

3. He is not there, due to the statue problem not beeing there i can move over there, he isnt there, its a blank map with only my character in it.

4. No


I managed to complete it withouth shale but now he's not in my party either, and i have my DLC enabled. SO he's gone in general

Okay, so it does not sound like it's "mission specific" but rather some issue involving the Shale DLC. Let's at least assume that for now. At any point have you had to "force load" a saved game? You would have gotten a warning message saying something or other (not necessarily Shale) is missing, and "do you want to continue anyway"?

At one point i Force loaded the game. I exited (cuz shale wasnt there) and then i restarted.

Then i force loaded again and it asked me to enable Shale DLC wich i did. Shale still isnt there.

I might add i used a previous save game that i was working on before i formatted my pc and reinstalled Dragon Age. All the other DLC seems to be working properly.

Is the Stone Prisoner DLC currently "unauthorized"?

Hmmm... I don't see your copy of DAO registered, so I can't tell... do you have the original edition or Ultimate Edition?
