So I recently played through the Suicide Mission again.
I tried to shoot the Reaper baby with the Cain.
I missed.
God damn it.
Any other fails to share?
Epic fail.

Had the same thing happen to me once. Shot the Cain and right when the projectile was destined to go BOOM that bastard yanked away. I was humiatingly angry at that thing which even appeared to smile at my misfortune.

I failed too first time I used Cain on Reaper.
But I also had fail with Cain when I used it first time on Preatorian on Horizon.

Anyhow, I just remembered one thing ... not really a fail on my part, but epic anyhow.
Derelict Reaper, Reaper Core and me being fed up with Husks. So I pull out the Cain, charge, keep moving a little to not get buggered and just when I was firing, some darn Husk popped up right in my face and took the hit. Cain, point blank to the face ... with me standing approximately at 7 feet distance.
I swear, I could feel the devs smirking telepathically at this epic selfbusting.

I missed the geth armature on Haestrom the first time with the Cain. Talk about epic fail...as big as a house and it hardly moves.

How could the Praetorian dodge it? That projectile is homing. So hard in fact you have to deliberate shoot at a golden spot between the YMIRs on the depot N7 mission so you actually hit all of them and not only two because that darn thing thought it was nice to track that one mech just so the other one is just this tiny bit out of the blast zone!
Cain is an imposter I tell you!

-Decided at the end of Overlord that David was going to eat a Cain round. 1 mission critical failure screen later and I figured out that I should not be standing so close when I fire the round at him >_< At least it only took one death to figure that out (did the same thing on another playthrough, though, so maybe I didn't learn so well...).
Sadly, I can't actually think of any other epic fails. Maybe I'll get some good ones for ME3

Took me one critical mission failure to notice that starting to fire the Cain cancels tactical cloak... which left me standing in the open facing the Praetorian without shields and 60% health...

Lair of the Shadow Broker. Kept getting my rear kicked so hard, I had to take off my hat to sit down. This was in the battle where the flying trucks full of the Shadow Broker's troops kept arriving right after you land the taxi.
So after about four tries, I finally remember to level up Liara first.
I don't have any good Cain stories, though. I never used it because it is such a hit or miss proposition.

I just unlocked the Cain on my second playthrough. I was considering using it on the Human Reaper myself, but I have horrible accuracy as it is. So I've decided against it.
